Wait a sec.... I know the engine will switch to lower gear when ur speed decreases below the certain speed range for the gear...

But wat tokyoboy was asking is, his gears automatically changed to higher gears even without changing it... tats a bit weird... hmm.gif

Ya ya it will automatically switch to higher gears if I rev the 1st n 2nd gear to higher rpm, n it will automatically jump 1 to 2 gears up...witch means if 1st gears I'm in high rpm probly like 6000rpm than when I shift to 2nd gear n clock at around 3~4000rpm than it will jump thru 3th gear automatically which same like 2nd gear jump to 4th gear, this issue cause Me cannot use the higher rpm to push up each gears manually for a better pickup...does this issue is same like "irangan" said is all because the ecu to protect the engine ??

I doubt this is wat irangan was saying... I think he was saying if u r in manual mode, lets say in 5th gear travelling at 100kmh, and if u slow the car down (due to traffic or any other reason) to around 30kmh, then the gear would automatically shift down to 2nd/3rd gear.. so its kinda prevent u from accelerate at 5th gear from 30hm/h..

Hope u get wat I mean...

no offence, but theres no way everyone will stay in the new thread if the moderator doesnt close the old one... tokyoboy did post his question in both thread, ironically users answer to his question in the old thread....
