no one has any comment on k5 ICE? does the infinity sound system is good? need to get the feedback, if the sound system is not good, might need to reserve money to upgrade the sound system.

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Mar 5 2012, 03:48 PM) i've been meaning to listen the audio of both cars, but each time I go to the Naza showroom at TTDI, always crowded with other customer swarming both cars. QUOTE(rcracer @ Mar 5 2012, 03:55 PM) Apparently it's the same system installed in overseas models that have gotten exceptional reviews yes! this is the kind of review that I've been looking for! Thanks!Example http://blogs.insideline.com/roadtests/2011...dio-review.html Btw, how long is the estimated time between an approved loan and receiving the car? Might want to make this car as my wedding car!! |
Bro, I once commented about the CD player to a SA. He told me that if you want to change to the Ori LCD console you could without voiding your warranty. Just need to order from KIA and have them installed it. I'm wondering how much they will charge for the ORI LCD Console? Does it look like the one install on the Kia Optima Turbo Version?
i'm wondering, why would Kia removed the Original LCD Touchscreen? |

QUOTE(texass @ Mar 19 2012, 12:54 PM) HI, Normally dat applied to almost of conti cars. Have no idea wether the Kia/Hyundai had to do the same. The reason? Because the amount of current charges that flows in from the other battery to your weak battery might differ, thus can give such an impact on electrical equipment, such as ECU, or the devices that stored your car's settings/config.Interested at the topic discussed and want to ask if anyone know the answer. Is it true that since there is a lot of electronic component, if the battery goes flat, you can not do any jumping from another car. So you need get help from the nearest authorized kia service center! This was told by a SA. Thanks. QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Mar 19 2012, 01:02 PM) Yes the aircon takes about 1min to actually start cooling. The longest ive seen in any car actually. In all other cars (including my 9 yr old Vios), the cooling starts after about 10 secs and there's a gradual increase. But in the Optima's case, there is 100% hot air blown for the first minute or so. Maybe the idle time before the air cond compressor kick in as roughly more than 10 secs? Well in fact, I've experienced the same thing on my dad 2004 C200 Merc. But i can live with that. What worries me is the burning smell. Never noticed it in any other test drive car from other manufacturers. And the smell permeates into the cabin as well. The vibration in the steering wheel is also kinda disturbing. Its like the tyres are losing grip. Added on March 19, 2012, 12:04 pm Well that solves only 1 'problem'. Doesnt explain the high amount of heat being released. I would expect that if the car has been in use for a few hours but we're talking only about 20mins here. Why would there be that amount of heat being permeated? I mean its quite hot. Has it got anything to do with the burning smell? Added on March 19, 2012, 12:05 pm But how come ive never faced a similar problem on any other car make ive tested? Come to think of it, i dont think i experienced this when i tried out the Forte when it was launched either. Its really worrisome. Added on March 19, 2012, 12:06 pm Are u sure? It was always the norm for local dealers to offer higher prices due to the local number plate. As for the amount of heat coming from the K5, is it almost like an amount of heat coming from a turbocharged cars such as Impreza/Evo? |

done test drive at FS Trading Ampang. No squeaky roof, burn smell no. But I manage to get a better clarification on certain issues:
1. all color is available and in stock. after loan approved, SA promised to get the car deliver within 3 working days. Summore, FS Trading offer RM2000 rebate for 2012 (rear aircond blower) model. 2. the burn smell - he said thats normal as the anti rust applied on new car. the smell will go away max in a month. 3. the tail light, all is working! surprising enough, to trigger the rear light, we have to tilt the stick on the right. :hmm Anyhow, going to place booking and hand in document tomorrow. |

QUOTE(Landy @ Mar 21 2012, 05:47 PM) Hmmm... Looks like white and silver very popular. If I want any of these color have to wait for next week. Platinum graphite got stock. Can give me the car immediatedly also. Btw, I just sign my loan agreement last Friday only. I am between white and pg bro. ma lady wants pg because if white, the chrome does not stick out much..Wonder if I should just get the PG color since white and silver need more time for washing to keep them clean.... Added on March 21, 2012, 4:59 pm QUOTE(LYL2009 @ Mar 21 2012, 05:56 PM) Promise to deliver within 3 working days? Which color you are going for? Not sure about Silver or Plat Graphite. But what I know is that the white K5 is still stuck at the port waiting for custom to release due to AP issues. Then again I may be wrong. Really? Bought Naza Ria and Kia Spectra from them since 2004. Hurm.. Was going for White earlier, but I think PG looks much better. FS Trading is also famous for their empty promises in the past with lots of car purchasers complaining. Was just wondering anyone else here bought their K5 from FS Trading Ampang? Kindly share And yes, the SA promised within 3 days. And he says got all stock in their store. Will go and take a look in their garage tomorrow before placing booking. QUOTE(kenrain @ Mar 21 2012, 06:17 PM) The one that arrives is the one not full strip, different than the one shown in showroom. That's what our bro experienced and he writes to Nazakia to complain about that but no reply yet from them. damn man. so what we will be receiving is different from the display car? QUOTE(JuneSeptember @ Mar 21 2012, 07:00 PM) Nope, PG is very obvious when it gets dusty, especially under sun light. But PG looks very cool under artificial lighting, all the curves and lines on the bonnet... oooh.... look cool tho..I think silver is most tahan dirty color. Your lady has style man. That's the exact same reason why i chose PG. The chrome bits really make the roof line flow.. Btw, Silver K5 looks very high class, saw one in kepong this morning in my own PG K5. Nice. Both white and silver color really show the nice skirting at either end of the bumpers. Here's something nice to have: http://www.superichmotors.com/front/php/pr...display_group=1 however, if we install this side repeater along with the 4 tiny square lights upfront would be a little overkill. Too bling-bling, a bit UFO & ah beng. There can be only one. btw, i've been wondering, what panel is those beside the gear? since i've been checking on the test car, the panel is there, but no button as the features were taken off from the car. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by jAkUn: Mar 21 2012, 06:26 PM |

QUOTE(irangan @ Mar 21 2012, 07:28 PM) My agent and Maybank damm efficient~! I placed the order with complete documentation on 19/3/2012 4pm. Maybank called me for verification on 20/3 10am. And the agent just called me and said that the loan is approved and can sign by tomorrow. The car will be deliver to me by next Wed; the latest. Speechless. Much much efficient than my previous experience with Toyota agent. good! what color did you pick?QUOTE(DJSoo @ Mar 21 2012, 07:28 PM) ohh, dat explains.. haha.. tq2. |

QUOTE(kenrain @ Mar 21 2012, 07:34 PM) Yes, not fair right? Should complain till top management and let our voices be heard and change back the tail light to the full strip ones. Not too sure our bro zrill tail light case is able to get replacement, any update bro zrill? can we denied the car upon receiving and checking the car since the tail light is different what have been displayed?QUOTE(irangan @ Mar 21 2012, 07:36 PM) damn.. then I have to agree my lady choice, PG too.
