Is it true that since there is a lot of electronic component, if the battery goes flat, you can not do any jumping  from another car. So you need get help from the nearest authorized kia service center!

Yes the aircon takes about 1min to actually start cooling. The longest ive seen in any car actually. In all other cars (including my 9 yr old Vios), the cooling starts after about 10 secs and there's a gradual increase. But in the Optima's case, there is 100% hot air blown for the first minute or so.

But i can live with that. What worries me is the burning smell. Never noticed it in any other test drive car from other manufacturers. And the smell permeates into the cabin as well. The vibration in the steering wheel is also kinda disturbing. Its like the tyres are losing grip.

Well that solves only 1 'problem'. Doesnt explain the high amount of heat being released. I would expect that if the car has been in use for a few hours but we're talking only about 20mins here. Why would there be that amount of heat being permeated? I mean its quite hot. Has it got anything to do with the burning smell?

But how come ive never faced a similar problem on any other car make ive tested? Come to think of it, i dont think i experienced this when i tried out the Forte when it was launched either. Its really worrisome.

Hmmm... Looks like white and silver very popular. If I want any of these color have to wait for next week. Platinum graphite got stock. Can give me the car immediatedly also. Btw, I just sign my loan agreement last Friday only.

Promise to deliver within 3 working days? Which color you are going for? Not sure about Silver or Plat Graphite. But what I know is that the white K5 is still stuck at the port waiting for custom to release due to AP issues. Then again I may be wrong.

FS Trading is also famous for their empty promises in the past with lots of car purchasers complaining. Was just wondering anyone else here bought their K5 from FS Trading Ampang?

The one that arrives is the one not full strip, different than the one shown in showroom. That's what our bro experienced and he writes to Nazakia to complain about that but no reply yet from them.

Nope, PG is very obvious when it gets dusty, especially under sun light. But PG looks very cool under artificial lighting, all the curves and lines on the bonnet... oooh.... 

I think silver is most tahan dirty color.
Your lady has style man. That's the exact same reason why i chose PG. The chrome bits really make the roof line flow..

Btw, Silver K5 looks very high class, saw one in kepong this morning in my own PG K5. Nice. Both white and silver color really show the nice skirting at either end of the bumpers.

My agent and Maybank damm efficient~! I placed the order with complete documentation on 19/3/2012 4pm. Maybank called me for verification on 20/3 10am. And the agent just called me and said that the loan is approved and can sign by tomorrow. The car will be deliver to me by next Wed; the latest. Speechless. Much much efficient than my previous experience with Toyota agent.
