Guys i have some questions regarding the Optima after my last test drive over the weekend:

1) I noticed a burnt smell coming from around the car after the 30 min drive. This also happened on earlier test drives. I notice this happens after fast acceleration. Why is this happening?

2) The steering wheel behaves rather erratically when turning corners over bumpy roads or hard braking. Like it has a life of its own

3) The area around the car is also very warm possibly from the heat emanating from underneath the car. Ive never experienced this on other cars before.

Can someone provide some insight especially current owners? Anything mentioned on foreign websites/forums on possible similar problems on the Optima?

Well like i said before, the problems mentioned above came about after hard driving. So if u didnt do that then you cant really say the problem doesnt exist.
