New k5 owners here. Bought it two weeks ago n facing the same problem as some of the ppl mentions here...will go check it out next week at sc selayang for my first service...hope will solve the problem soon...

Question : y my ride change the gears automatically even I'm using in manual pedal shift mode ? Things happen everytime when I rev my 1st gears till 6000rpm than change to 2nd gear, when it's around 3000rpm++ in 2nd gear, the gearbox
automatically jump to 3~4th quickly even I didn't press in anything...does this happening is common to all the owners here ?

I shift the gear to manual mode on the gear box everytime if i wan itin manusal mode. but whatever I using the gear box or paddle shift to change ther gears, the effect still the same...

Icic...tot it can rev until the limit witch same like some others...anyway thanks

Ya ya it will automatically switch to higher gears if I rev the 1st n 2nd gear to higher rpm, n it will automatically jump 1 to 2 gears up...witch means if 1st gears I'm in high rpm probly like 6000rpm than when I shift to 2nd gear n clock at around 3~4000rpm than it will jump thru 3th gear automatically which same like 2nd gear jump to 4th gear, this issue cause Me cannot use the higher rpm to push up each gears manually for a better pickup...does this issue is same like "irangan" said is all because the ecu to protect the engine ??
