Just to share something.

Last nite I was called to do live streaming to some guys using ipad/iphone combo

Stream coming from iPhone4
Stream transcoded and sent to brroadcasting server in central location
Ipad open the stream from central location

From a single iPhone stream can broadcast to many devices ( ipad,pc,mac,blackberry,android ) and can support up to 10,000 concurrent users on single server.

Imagine Qik.com technology but locally
