have been lost touch with the latest rom flashing method. It there any recommended Data2Whatever ROM out there? Although flashed with A2SD+, my Desire still facing shortage of space to install apps. rclxub.gif The Desire was flashed with ReflexSense.

Tried S-off and flashed with Cool Sensation v10 2 days ago but found the phone become very laggy and it does not have youtube and gmail. shocking.gif

Check the Desire Development forum at XDA and saw there are so many ROM out there - dun know which to flash. Please recommend me a ROM with the following:
1. Fast and stable - a must.
2. Sense base - a must but if has Sense 3.0 eye candy will be even better.
3. Data2Whatever if possible so i will never run out of space anymore.

And i am quite confused about Data2Whatever. What is the proper steps? Must partition the sd card manually? How many partitions it actually need - Fat32+ext4 like normal ROM or Fat32+Ext4+ext4? Or just flashed the D2W zip file after installing the normal A2SD rom as stated by the D2W thread at XDA and the partition will be setting up automatically? So confusing...... rclxub.gif

Thanks for any enlightenment. notworthy.gif

Well I jumped to S2 last month, my Desire pass to my sister to use. Very reluctant to let go the Desire so gave it to my sis to use. At least I can still see it once in a while. Haha

Desire, my first Android phone. One of the best phones I ever used.

yes, Desire is a pretty nice phone. Still using by my wife - flashed custom rom for her once in a while. Covered by Case-mate Tough, can't really see any wear and tear when taken off the casing naked. biggrin.gif Battery life still quite good too.

Have been upgraded to DHD and now Galaxy Note. biggrin.gif

guys, I've been using MIUI-AU since 6 months back. Was great for the first few months but lately my desire always "hang" and reboot by itself. kinda frustrating especially when it reboots while I'm in a middle of replying msgs

anyone have same problem? should I change rom....any recommended stable roms?

thanx
*
my wife keep complaining that too till my ears cannot tahan.... so got her a SIII. sweat.gif

Even reboot also cannot solve the problem. Now use it as backup phone and flash to AOKP ICS. It works great as my kids' pacifier. thumbup.gif

hi, long time never check this thread. Anyone can recommend a seller to buy a replacement battery? Best if original but if proven reliable third party one also can accept if price is ok. I think the battery of my Desire is dying soon but it still functions perfectly.

Got this for RM80 at lowyat. You need to survey and ask around to get the best price.

just flash MIUI JB rom on the my 3-years old son's Desire. The reboot is so much slower than the latest Note and Tab 7.7. You need to have some patience before pulling out the battery while flashing. Just leave it alone for 10-15 minutes before everything reboot normally.

Original battery is only RM120 compared to RM60-80 third part one. I will opt for original if i really want to change battery.

surprise to see that this thread is still alive and kicking. thumbup.gif I still keep my first android phone now although it has become my kids' toy. sweat.gif Thinking of getting a new original battery (RM120 i check with HTC dealer) for replacement and pass it to my school going kids to be used as a phone properly.
