using supernova here. its been 2 years since my Desire touched any sense roms. i could say its fast! and stable! just what i need.

Just wondering, who are still using HTC desire?

I am using one, bought over 2 years ago. I am thinking to root my phone now. Is the guide in the first page still practical?

wah so tough la you, 2 years until now only want to root.. I rooted my Desire 1 day after purchase.

yeah i'm still using it, alongside my One X and Gnexus though.

Almost exactly 2 years after I got my HTC Desire, this new buddy came (not in picture is the tablet).

I still carry the Desire around as a backup (the Padfone by itself, does indeed have a weak battery) and also because I need to develop and test apps on 3.7" 480x800 screens as well - the ratio is different.

i'm still using HTC Desire. Just flashed with MildWild 5.0 yesterday as recommended by leonss. I found it faster than MIUI-AU.
Now i'm monitoring battery usage. At the moment it's performing better that MIUI...but i kinda miss the nice look of MIUI..hehe

Anyway, I have 1 problem with my Desire..the Volume Rocker is not functioning since I rooted the phone and flash MIUI last year..even after I flashed MildWild, still not functioning..anyone have same issue?

now stuck at htc queitly brilliant screen... keep showing it..how??

8 hours 18mins since unplugged with the MildWild ROM with mobile data on and normal use of FB & twitter. Now battery is at 44%. Based on battery usage statistic, display is about 70%... is this normal?

Not sure if this it's the same battery performance with MIUI-AU ROM which I've used previously..

can boot into recovery?

dunno how to boot... if use phone,kenot... tried a few times...

My Desire running MIUI-XJ is getting nuttier by the day. Constantly freezes without warning, even during calls. I'm thinking of ditching MIUI. What is the most stable rom out there? How's Supernova? Data2SD sounds really tempting..

haha nice. i had few FC when using CM7 after awhile. So far with supernova its 400++ hours time without rebooting!

bro, for dialer.apk fc. it happen due to got diff between nightly. before this i also encounter similar problem like yours. then i just do a clean install. all problem gone. now stick with stable version since nightly like 'hidup segan mati tak mau'..haha
