I'm bored. So, I googled around. And I found something interesting, yet slowpoke!
Its not like I need a new graphic card for my laptop, but its interesting to find that external graphic card is actually working.
If it works, then we don't have to save up for an Alienware, Sager, ROG.....BUT NO.....These external graphic cards are expensive!
Introducing you the
VIDOCK!

So, what are the requirements to install a ViDock external graphic card?
1. Please check if your laptop has the ExpressCard slot, if yes, it should be physically compatible with ViDock
2. Take out the cover from the slot if you find it. See picture for reference from the link:
http://blog.dk.sg/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/dsc03867a.jpg3. Check the size and shape. Both ExpressCard/34 or 54 (NOT CardBus PC Card) are OK. See picture from the link:

BUT...the real requirements posted by a MALAYSIAN are BAD.
i) Maximum power limited to 225W.
ii) Only 2x 6 pins power adapter. If your graphic card uses <225W but having 8 pins port then this will not work.
iii) Maximum card length 312mm or 1 foot.
iv) Has known "Resource Allocation Problem". Some notebook won't have this issue but some will. Dell confirmed to have this issue (i am using Dell).
There are several solutions, the most easy solution is to use only 2Gb or 3Gb RAM. Having 4Gb and above may have the said problem.
v) Does not work on PCMCIA cardbus slot.
vi) May not support fancy cooling design which is bigger than the casing.
vii) Require external monitor. Unable to use notebook own LCD unless the notebook has Video In port (very rare).
viii) Performance is limited by Expresscard bandwidth of PCIe 1x. However it is still much faster than onboard VGA.
https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1898673PRICE??? RM850 (not including graphic card)
CHANCES OF WORKING??? 30%..
WORTH IT??? No...
end of troll..
