Dropship drops on siege tank is like a standard strategy in BW TvT. In BW, to counter this strategy, the other player then will counter that drops with the drops of it's own. It will becomes the battle of dropship. But stimmed marine is damn OP, hardly any air unit can survive them shooting for more than 1 second. Counter drops might not viable in sc2

leapfrog or no leapfrog really play no role here. This method can be use even on a stationary siege tank army. Like I said, the counter to this (in BW) is heavy anti air or another counter drops on the same location.
