QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Aug 4 2011, 05:25 PM) Rangers contribution unappreciated? Haha what have some selected rangers done to be even worthy except for complaining? So funny. +1 Some are champions when it comes to complaining. When asked about ideas to uniquely market N9, all keep quiet (Singapore Rangers got give so much input). Some even go missing after got phone. |

I like the device. Well, still early to give comment. I am still exploring it. |

Ok, figured out. At the aspect ration of 16:9, the max is 7Mpix but other ratio shows 8Mpix. This post has been edited by ViRaViRa: Oct 8 2011, 08:05 AM |

QUOTE(Leo the Lion @ Oct 8 2011, 09:38 AM) And the best part is, the case fits perfectly well, unlike previous Nokia phones that I've used where the case/pouch will block something. Also, it doesn't make your phone much thicker/bulkier. In fact your phone looks exactly the same as how it will be without the case because of the same colour |

QUOTE(andrekua @ Oct 8 2011, 07:29 PM) Auto lock I guess e.g. after 10 minutes of inactivity, I double tap and swipe. Immediately it will ask for password. I want to disable the password prompt. I see that there is no option to turn it off in security. |

This phone might be a bit complicated and frustrating to use at first. Once you are used to it, it will be awesome.
Trust me, I am loving it. It is very much better than Symbian |

QUOTE(macwai01 @ Oct 8 2011, 11:59 PM) No HDMI out also? How about USB OTG? Facebook in N9 is much much much (x10 times) better than N8's social app. the SD slot and Camera is quite a big letdown for me, although i don't really use my SD card. And is Facebook usable on the N9? unlike N8's social app? lol Almost like Android and iOS. The only sad case is, it doesn't have Places, yet. Also, the photo cannot pinch to zoom (actually cannot zoom at all). |

Security lock problem reappear. I guess one of the app (or probably Mail for Exchange) is forcing the security thing to appear.

battery life is decent. I charged until 91% yesterday 11am. Today at 10:25am, my battery still left 15%. Usually i have to make a lot of sacrifices to save battery life but for this N9, i'm just using it as usual.
continuous push email (3emails), web browsing (abt 2 hrs), connected via wifi 24/7, few photos, did a full factory reset, gps navigation for abt 10 mins. Added on October 9, 2011, 10:33 amalso, skype chat (5mins) and fb chat + twitter (off and on, the whole day) This post has been edited by ViRaViRa: Oct 9 2011, 10:33 AM |

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Oct 9 2011, 10:34 AM) Easy. After you have set up your email, go back to Accounts and click on that email e.g. Gmail. Then click on schedule. Set the intervals to "always up to date"You must also make sure that the connection is not turned off while apps running in the background. |

My Schedule doesn't have "always to update" option. It has Peak time interval, peak time, peak days and off-peak time interval only. I'm using yahoo mail. Click on peak time interval and you will see always up to date. Need to do the same thing for off peak time interval if you want 24 hrs push email. This post has been edited by ViRaViRa: Oct 9 2011, 11:13 AM |

It is not pssible to share photos via Twitter. Can anyone confirm?
Added on October 9, 2011, 5:32 pm QUOTE(andrekua @ Oct 9 2011, 04:58 PM) When one have two to feed... they will suck you dry Even since before you always have battery issues in all your phones [attachmentid=2476778] Anyone has any idea how to preserve battery? Mine dont last again... or should I say, yet again... I tried power saver, and set it at 20% but found that the screen look brighter than it was without it... does it actually save battery or just start saving it when it reach 20%? ** Just update a little bit, before anyone say Im biased... I did not tried any power saving with S2 cos I think its a waste of time. They cant turn individual core off if Im not mistaken. So it does require additional charging everyday, up to twice at times... May I know what is your usage pattern? This post has been edited by ViRaViRa: Oct 9 2011, 05:32 PM |
