Ah, the N9. Bloody took it's time. From the death of my N900 -> E71 (died) -> iPhone 4 (stolen) -> my current SGS2. ONLY THEN did it come out?
The prototypes were around since last yer la wei, Nokia. Not bashing the phone itself, just Nokia. Even more so when the QWERTY toting Dev edition is apparently gonna be VERY limited in production + lacking in the screen department (TFT vs CBDAMOLED). Hopefully, Meego wil not be TOO "mobile" in the sense that both iOS and Android are both not proper "full scale" OSes. I mean rotihalia on my SGS2 is fine, but it's no Maemo. Nothing beats the ability to run DESKTOP software on a handheld device - as far as sheer flexibility is concerned. And is that a single core proc they've stuck in there? |

The removal of some Maemo's ability is a let down as shown in the last video I posted there are usual advanced functions available in MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan. My N900 already shows some minor signs of wear & tear.Need to open up for service And yeah,it's using single core processor. But I have to say Nokia is making TI 3630 look like dual core processor with the fluid UI's. |

Come on lar, I understand it's not all about the specs and users don't realy need geekphones, but even uncles and aunties now know that phones can run dual core and that it's "the future", whether or not that is actually true.Wondered when you'll pop up in this thread... Experimental flagship.
Even if N9 had high end hardwares it'll still be be tough thing to sell because of DOA OS. |

^Actually that's a real surprise. When we started speculate the N9's spec in TMO most of the us guessed it'll come with 512MB RAM only given Nokia's track record which always ship devices with puny amount of RAM.
