I guess each ranger has different kinds of inputs to be shared to Nokia on that day, they will need all kinds of inputs/ideas we can give; I personally mail to Fleishman on some ideas I can think of, particularly from the past experience especially the N900;

One of the obvious reason is the advertisement and marketing; You see Nokia advertisement is not really promoting the device as in make people "want it" or even want to go try it; Look at iPhone advertisement... it's short simple, it shows the simplicity of the OS, the smoothness, and really makes people want to get one, OR look at their current phone with funny look.

The N9 has sleek design, the UI comparing with iOS, it's comparable with many similarities and it's MORE than that; It's looks smooth too. With proper advertisement, they can really bring out the device, they can make a very interesting advertisement, especially with what the OS can do and offer; The most important is they need to show and highlight what is the uniqueness and what the OS can do that others currently can, whatever that makes people have the urge to want one, or even gets itchy to try it out at Nokia Centre.
You can write in to Nokia, but as from previous Ranger meeting, seems it's not what they're looking for and I guess they have no say on what to do to the OS, but MAYBE they can try to feedback it to the right person?

Basically, what they were trying to do is to market the N9. As with previous N900 especially, the marketing and sales of the device is kind of a failure? I'm not sure.

Anyway, one key point I also provided is that they should NOT delay the N9 and release it as soon as possible.
Reasons particularly:
1. Ever growing Competition
2. The device specs; No doubt, hardware specs is not everything, but we cannot deny that people will eventually care about the specs, ESPECIALLY if they delay it and more advance hardware is available, and the standards is also moving fast.
Since the hardware is already fix, nothing we can do? Would advice them not to delay and market it fast.
Lots of difference bro; Honestly, I hardly touched Symbian, I kind of hate it; I use to love it, well, during Windows Mobile era, I kind of prefer Symbian. After moved to Maemo, even lacking so many phone functionality, but as an smartphone (tablet) OS, it's totally different. MeeGo on the other hand, may not be as flexible and powerful as Maemo? It's like a simplified version of Maemo for end users. In short, it's simple like iOS, yet powerful like Android? Let's see when the device is release or when we get to hands on (if).
IMO, it'll be a very good replacement for Symbian OS completely; No point working on Symbian anymore actually, better MeeGo than Symbian?
