Well, if you guys are having sim error like me, you can either try flexing your sim back and forth till you feel its straight again, and try again. Otherwise just get a new one. Thanks to Digi Center @ SoHoKL for helping me. Somemore I only got it last week and only insert once to S2 and once to N9. Anyway, why micro sim when all they did was attach it to a bigger adapter, just a bit tiny than standard sim? Digi consultant said Nokia also using micro sim? Cool... but I wasted few hours troubleshooting without any solution.
Im getting quite fed up with the battery indicator. Drop again from 30% to 4% now... second time already and this is after a few hard reset. The haptic feedback is good.

Their small and tiny DC11 is charging just fine despite being only a 0.5A while my no brand charger cant even charge it with 1.5A
OK, I solved the mystery. I changed the cable to Nokia short version of USB cable. I think the additional pin makes it detect the charger as a pc as it keep asking whether I want to enable Mass Storage or Sync. Now I learned something new... Dont use unauthorised accessories with Nokia authentic accessories. It worked with S2 though... LOL...

Yours also able to detect the sim when you insert it? Mine was able to detect and it ask for the SIM Pass Code, can also detect wrong pass code. But after input the correct pass code, it just cannot get any network.
For mine it was not able to detect at all.
As for test sim, I went to the Selayang branch and I think they do not have a test sim. I think it was not really maintained by Digi directly. But in SoHoKL which is one of Digi main center, yes, they have a test sim.

Aiyah... I told ya, its not that voltage la. I already charge all my previous phones and iPad2 without problem.
I solved the mystery already. Seem like using Nokia usb cable to charge makes it detect the charger as pc as it asked whether I want to enable Mass Storage or Sync. Oh well, its my fault anyway... must retract or else kena sue balik...

Anyone has any idea how to preserve battery? Mine dont last again... or should I say, yet again... I tried power saver, and set it at 20% but found that the screen look brighter than it was without it... does it actually save battery or just start saving it when it reach 20%?
** Just update a little bit, before anyone say Im biased... I did not tried any power saving with S2 cos I think its a waste of time. They cant turn individual core off if Im not mistaken. So it does require additional charging everyday, up to twice at times...

Just want to read what those people with long battery life are doing differently. Then only compare. Unless for doing comparison or review, else I dont bother to monitor.
Just goto Digi Center and show them your problem. Sim card problem. Digi also sells N9, therefore you can ask them to try on their demo unit to check the source of the problem.
Non Nokia official sales centre has display unit as well. LOL. Consumer worry about scarcity but shops don't care about it at all. Got Sensation but but I want N9. LOL.

Nothing really. The problem is with the cable. Incompatible cable. I used back the original cable that comes with the portable charger and it works fine.
Crap, just change a new casing and somehow managed to KILL my hdd. I peek inside the case the very moment I smelled something burning and saw white smoke coming out from the hdd. Two years never off, once off shit happens... Oh, those error pics of Nokia N9 software... Don't feel like writing anything... Want to throw something... Agh, N9...
