QUOTE(rihuhs @ Jul 3 2011, 11:16 PM) patience you must, my young padawan ya wor...i bought one HG for my retired dad (SHOCK LEHHH). actually he bought the MG Sword Impulse after i saw the review very good. opened box...he looked stunned. "why so complicated 1". so i bought a HG 7 sword for him...rm58 in PJ, not bad price. at least let him play play. before buy better look for some reviews/WIPs.. so can have a general idea how the whole build gonna be, or maybe how long it's gonna take. don't end up buy buy buy later don't have time to build wasted just sell off i'm beginner, he lagi beginner yea, i have a cool dad. hahahaha. |

QUOTE(calcilis @ Jul 3 2011, 11:45 PM) well its not a problem for me since is he doing it not me actually when u said complicated...are u referring to the paint part? i don find assembling difficult. i just need to know how to manage those nibs and polish them. and possibly need to learn how to use cement or something to 'glue' those gap.but it might hurt his wallet more if he done it on a more expensive MG let alone a PG but in the end if any newbie who is not confident on their hands or has tight budget better stick with HG 1st or simpler MG like the RX-78 that's all i guess. painting is a different story DSLR..? i got my whole set of DSLR n lens from my dad. he's been a photographer for 40+ years. hahaha. i'm bit old to start with gundam modeling. always wanted to get but expensive. so my friend's decision to sell me his half assembled strike freedom burst mode for RM 85 somehow started my self-poisoning session.
i plan to paint later...once i m more steady. hahaha. i also intend to just panel line and touch up...clear the nubs. my plan - http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...entry43569310 top coat got help ka? |

it's too late for me to trim.... and i don intend to take it apart coz i can feel it's fragile if u try to disassemble. so i gonna do a challenging thing - panel lining and polishing when the gundam is already built =_=

oooo painful wei like that. but never mind, toys are toys. gf more important. don make her feel sad (provided she does feel sad) coz of breaking ur toy accidentally.

QUOTE(Odinn @ Jul 4 2011, 02:27 PM) 00 raiser only 205? o_o where u get that price? the e-curve shop selling 240+ i think. Exia MG is nice and affordable. Ignition mode too expensive. Thought of 00 Quant but..er....donno leh... maybe i should just start with cheaper Exia. IJ also not bad ah |
