QUOTE(moshimaruu @ Feb 25 2013, 10:16 AM) Need advise: Is tail docking in Malaysia illegal? cause i saw some people selling the poodle with short tail, and some long.. the price also got different. If legal to do tail docking, which vet at Malaysia does it? There is no such law to make tail docking illegal in Malaysia, most breeders do it on their own rather than bringing to vet. As for which vet does it, perhaps you can try calling them up.

QUOTE(thteong82 @ Jul 30 2013, 02:36 PM) Hi all, Recently brought a toy poodle. 3rd vaccine soon. I would like to ask what is the maximum food intake for a puppy. I read from this thread, seem like 10% of body weight when in puppy and 2%-3% of body weight when adult. Is it 6 months considered adult? 1 year old would be considered as adult. All dogs are different, the % is just a guideline. I know dogs of same size and breed that are fed with the same amount but one is fat but the other is skinny. At the end of the day, owner knows best. Try feeding a certain amount you find comfortable with for 2 weeks. Observe. If you find your dog too skinny, increase the amount and observe again. Reduce if otherwise. After some time, you will know the best amount to feed.

QUOTE(adrianteo @ Oct 25 2013, 02:53 PM) Helo all, I'm interested in getting a toy poodle. Anyone has any contact for a good breeder? Or anyone with good track records in poodles? thanks! Try calling up MKA for some poodle breeders' contacts. Alternatively, you can visit MKA organised dog shows, chances are you would be able to be in touch with reputable breeders.

QUOTE(SoulRex @ Sep 12 2014, 03:58 AM) hi all, i have some questions regarding dog food Currently, i'm feeding her Nutriedge Salmon and rice for the past year. After reading thru few pages back, it seems that scratching maybe allergic so is it possible that she is allergic to salmon? And is there any dog food which i can alter to in order for her to gain weight? Well it is definitely difficult to determine whether your dog is allergic to salmon but you can start by trying to change the range of dog food to see whether it helps.

QUOTE(SoulRex @ Sep 12 2014, 10:29 PM) thank for ur reply, will switch to other food type too see her reaction, i heard high protein food will gain more weight is it true? Personally, my concern is not the level of protein, more of the ingredient of the dog food itself. Ignore whatever is written in the front of the packaging, flip backwards, look at the ingredients, and google more about what it means especially the first 2 ingredients. If gaining weight is a concern, you can either exercise your dog more or adjust the feeding amount accordingly.
