hm if im not wrong you may transfer all the data from your iphone to your contact list in microsoft outlook by using itunes.
then you sync your ipad with the same cpu you backuped your iphone. then it should have it. or you may back up your iphone , then connect your ipad. when you sync your ipad try to tick the contact inside itunes. hope it helps |

I've been using iDrive to back up my contact (over 1k) in my iPhone... You can back up and later can install to another device such iPad, Blackberry or any other device that can support iDrive.
So, last time when I received my iPad2, iDrive is one of the first apps that I've installed and withing a few minutes, all my (over 1k) contact in my iPhone are now in my iPad too.. yayy! |

Use google sync will do. All your contacts, mail and calendar will be same across the devices.

another way is use outlook... make sure you have outlook installed...when you sync your iphone4 to PC...make sure you select outlook /contacts i think....
then remember to merge info...not to delete info...or else ur iphone4 data will wipe out.. then when you sync your ipad... make sure you select sync from outlook contact back to ipad from the PC... |
