Have you tried vacuum? Vacuum the mattress, the pillows, the floor, curtains – everything. This will not only get rid of the bed bugs themselves but also their eggs and droppings. Use a carpet cleaning machine with some disinfectant in it is probably the best way to eliminate any bugs from the carpet. Steam cleaners are an excellent tool in the fight to get rid of bed bugs when used after a vacuum cleaner.

Wash as many of these items as possible on a hot cycle in the washing machine, if you do not have a hot cycle washing machine, if possible put them into the tumble dryer on a high setting for about 10 minutes or more for those smaller items except for bed.

I hate bed bugs too.

Natural Bed Bug Control

Bed Bug Spray Recipe

1 Cup Water
10 drops lavender essential oil
10 drops rosemary essential oil
10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
3 drops essential oil of clove (optional)

Place in a fine mist spray bottle, and shake well before using.

I want to include some cautions here. Never work with essential oils unless you are wearing gloves. Undiluted essential oils can be dangerous if absorbed through the skin. Another possible problem is that essential oils, even diluted, can have an adverse effect on some cats, so keep kitty away.
