Really regretted buying AZ e-lite. Out of 100+ I installed, 5 broke down after 6 months. The supposedly easy to install mechanism gave me lots of headache, requiring replastering after every removal/reinstallation. Electrician kept on complaining when he did the installation.

If this true?
I read the manual and just look simple to dismantle.
We need replastering the ceiling?

Actually most LED light is made in Taiwan or China where is the quality come from?

Wanna last then go for the cheaper may still able to last 2-3 years.

Is consider worth it, most important is that adaptor located at the back of light body, can change anything is can't works.

Whatever if you really care about branded then die die go for philips should double few time your single light.

Hi, who and where did you purchase the light from, you did enquire from my 6" down light but i don't recall i ship it to Penang. 6" 16w will not damage the plaster ceiling, i teach you a trick, remove the frosted cover of the light, you will see there are 2 screw on left and right, remove the screw then the downlight will drop down without pull it from the plaster ceiling.

i am surprise you say 5 units after 6 months, on the LDRA / LDSA series.

care to share more , i will follow up the service.

Hi, I did enquire from you but I didnt buy from you because the seller wont let me cancel my order. You definitely gave a better price. Now it's 9 units of failure after 12 months. Thanks for sharing the tip, so tired of calling the electrician to replace the lights, now i do it myself.

Just to update and warn anyone who intend to buy AZ e-lite from Aztech. Don't even consider it! Within 1.5 years of installation, 15 units have failed. and that's way more than 10%. Using that projection, there will be 17% failure rate by the end of the warranty period. I dread to think what's going to happen after the warranty period.s.

The other thing is it takes them more than 1 month to give you the replacement. By the time you get your replacements, there will be more failures during the waiting time.

Bro Zealess,
Need your pro advice.
My living room is 15ft x14ft.
I am considering either,
1) Philips ESS 550lumens x4 unit or (rm85 each)
2) Sora LED 900lumens x4 (rm79 each)

Which one better or should I add additional light points? Any comments on Philips or Sora reliability? Can PM me too for sensitive comments.

Thanks ya

Can anyone comment on the T8 led light sold by DIY shops? Tempted to get those to replace my existing fluorescent lights if they are good and bright.
