Death grip is not an issue. It is making a mountain out of mini molehill. One more,
month nobody will talk about it. Just like iphone antennagate. No one even rember it now n iphone still sell by million.

Hmm planning to upgrade my MicroSD card as I am running out of space (now only left 2 GB)

Any ideas how I should migrate all my data from the 8GB to new microsd without any issues? I believe my maps and stuffs are already downloaded to my 8GB MicroSD.

I never like HTC sense. Find is bloated taking too much memory and widgets take up too much screen estate space. I have always replace the UI with others so I can customizeit to match my needs. Even my flyer I am using adw launcher
Even the ver 3 in sensation I don't like it. But I always recommend new users to buy HTC because it is good introduction to androids due to its HTC sense

Think deeper.
if u are a working ppl and busy wt ur lives, do u still like to play with custom ROMs, constantly searching for apps, etc? Unless of course it's ur hobby.
That's why HTC sense is a great piece of software designed to use hardware power to produce wonderful user experience.
So why wld normal ppl spend time on such matters if it is so boring and geeky to them?

Such people as so categorize by you should buy iPhone instead
And your simplistic view of users is untrue. I have been tinkering with electronic stuffs though I know nuts about it since I started at age 24. I have learn c+ programming myself at same age. I buildup my own pc assembly it myself at age 30. I started flashing palm OS, symbian at age 30. I have been with this hobby till now in my late fifties. It is a matter of time management and discipline to pursue one interests. So not necessary only retirees has the time to do it. And just for your info my last job for past 10 years most of my time travelling overseas and only about 30% of time I am at home. Yet I can pursue my interest in keeping up with my gadgets

I'm glad i got this phone but I had this issue for the past 3 days thats driving me crazy and have been searching up & down for a solution but to no avail.

Problem:
When i connect phone to PC using stock cable, the "Connect to PC" option should pop up or i can go to the notification bar to select what kind connection i want to do. But in my case it doesnt. Because of that, i cannot Sync, cannot use the "Diskdrive" mode etc. All it does is charging...

Here's a list of things that i have tried:
1)  Using different USB cables (HTC, Samsung & BB).
2)  Using different PC (Restarted).
3)  Restart phone with battery taken out for 30s.
4)  Uncheck & recheck the "Ask Me" option in Setting>>Connect to PC>>Ask Me
5)  Mount & dismount SD Card
6)  On & off USB de-bugging mode

I'm hoping this is not a hardware problem. Any1 can help?

Did you install the USB phone drivers ??

I am using two types yoobao. The charging time is fast n don't compare with phone as the input is much higher. Eg my 4800mah takes just 4+ hours fully charge from empty compared to phone 1500 to 1700mah akso take 3-4 hours. Just leave overnight charge if lazy it will autocut off when full.

You can get it much cheaper buying from lelong.com. I paid RM 119 for it only - just straight buy no bidding. Using it 5 months already - no issues at all
