Been using nokia before I switched to htc. So being a hardcore htc fan, for me sgs2 will never beat sensation. Also sense ui is better than touch wiz or even motoblur. Tw is too much like iphone that it robs the android-ness of the phone. If you want iphone ui get an iphone.

Galaxy 2 and Sensation are very close spec-wise that it will come to personal preference rather than performance. Try both at the booth or borrow a friends and make your own decision. for most htc owners sensation would have an upper hand.

Aldiko (yes, I read lots of e-book)

Rumours are the spice of life. I was on d way to buy htc IS when I read abt sensation on gizmodo. Terus cancel and waites for it. Damn worth it. If next nexus is htc made, I'll buy it in a flash.

Since the phone is by HTC anyway, would the non lens based camera function like sweep shot, clear shot hdr and burst shot be ported over to sensation once there is a software update? Sensation is suppose to be the top htc phone right???

Got same problem. Some say its because the widget was installed on the sd card. But some of my app is on phone memory. By removing and replacing the widget it became ok again. But 2-3 days later same thing happened again. So now, I just ignore it.

Anyone has this experience? My SD card suddenly unmount itself. Then when i restart, it says I have a blank SD card. Have to take out, clean the card with alcohol only then it works again. This is like the 3rd time it unmount itself. The previous time, restart the phone would solve the problem...

This is getting annoying...

Going to singapore tomorrow. Anyone knows which mall is like lowyat over there? Wanna get casemate tough, car charger and also check if they have any extended batteries...

ask any of your contact if they can see u on their whatapps. ask them to refresh their whatapps contact first.
If they can, ask them to msg u
if they can't... well... that is beyond my skill to troubleshot

Cool, well, noticed the same too compared to hero. But still annoyed that there are some places where i didnt get reception but iphone does.

Same with my phone but I just restart it and normal icon comes up. Lots of icon to remove and add so at times didnt bother. Sometimes it mutes itself too. Kinda like having a mood swing. So better to take a let her be approach, if not for sure stress giler.

Hahaha, I have those too. But it is ori sis set, so once it is rooted, those are gone for good.

All of it. I found it when I listed all the apps using appbrain. My M1 is the bigest at 1Mb, the rest are less than 20kb so not a drain on memory space..

Are there any earphone that comes with a controller to scroll thru songs, accept call and increase decrease volume on the controller. Tried using a-Jays Four but doesnt work on Sensation, even Beats Tour is not compatible. Seems all controlable earphones only work on apple products. Any suggestions?

I am with him. Wait for a faster phone to come up. Yr phone still have 1 yr of fun left. Mod it if u want, play around with different bootloader. As good as sensation it, it is still not the best htc can put out.

Display wise, i'd hope and think qHD would be the standard for android. For me it make sense (pardon the pun) as most tv programs are in HD resolution. As for processor, dual core would also be the pinnacle as quad core phone seems a bit overkill and will consume more batteries. 3D for me is a fad, its nice to have but for what it is worth, one will not use it regularly.

So, enjoy yr DHD, push it to its limit, and once a new dual core somes out (2ghz dual core maybe) jump on it.

but for Sensation, the qHD is 540 x 960
Apparently android qHD wallpaper is suppose to scroll but i know sensation doesnt scroll like the old sense.

So on go launcher it scrolls???
Coz sense doesnt, u can see plugin video, the wallpaper is static

Figured out why sometimes when app icon load up, it shows the android icon and not the app icon. Its either the sd card or sd card port f-up. This would likely happen to u if u purchased new sd card instead of using the one that comes with phone. Cant afford to buy class 10 to test out theory.

So when this happens, just unmount & mount sd card and restart sense/launcher. Works for me on sense 3.0
