i tried both devices..and honestly..the main thing that attract me is HTC sense 3.0...and also the aluminium body....it gives u a very high quality feel..the speed wise...SGS2 is faster because it has a simpler UI..and the plastic view and the lack of creativity in the UI design made me avoided it eventho it got some serious figures in the spec sheet..the hardware is nothing as u cant see it with ur own eyes...the UI and the outer design is what matters to me...the screen on the other hand..i dunno abt yall..but i think the AMOLED is abit over saturated..making everything appear not natural..S-LCD on the other hand fits me well..the color is balanced. HTC sense 3.0 is quite new..therefore alot of bugs..but i believe HTC will fix all of them in future updates.

Please go for original warranty from SIS. I got my old HTC diamond 2 spoilt LCD and they replaced for me without any charges, and they didnt ask much. They are rich. They can get the original parts easily.

I am not sure about AP warranty. Sometimes, you know, they can find a lot of excuse to tell you different story. They even may get low quality part for you and you have no way to blame them.

That's why always get AP set from trusted sources. I never bought Ori set before, always buy AP from trusted sources and so far had served me well enough

I was last quoted RM1600 for AP set on 25 June when i got my SiS set at RM1880. AP price is there for quite a while.

Correct, i would always recommend people go for original set if wallet permits, just enjoy the premium warranty from distributor.

Correct as well if wallet doesnt permit for original set, that would be a wise option to settle for AP set with trusted seller cos nowadays we're very much concern with after sales service.

How to set sensation to push certains apps instead of connecting data all day long?

I saw someone mentioned battery pack. Me myself use mipow 6600mah. I can charge my phone for about 4 times.

But I heard Brandstar or directd in lelong are quite good at after sales.

You try to search in garage sales and cod with him. I got from there too.

u can install juice defender to set data connection on/off and update according to a schedule. For example only on 3G and sync data for every 15 minutes.
Another way is go to menu>settings>accounts and sync and set update schedule for every accounts.

SIS will repair your phone but you have to pay access / troubleshooting fee (around RM80, non-refundable).

I did sent a non SIS distributed phone (HTC Snap) to them to repair the mic but the cost to repair it made me think otherwise. Just a hundred difference between the repair cost and the new phone price.

true, there's also a chance they can swap away ur other internal stuff to non-ori while repair ur phone.
i don't believe they will send back to ori country and do claim.
