Hi to all mothers out there,

I just want to ask if it is safe to conceive when I am taking those cervical cancer vaccination? I deliver last year and then the doctor recommended me to do a pap smear test, followed by those cervical cancer vaccination. It comes in 3 jabs so I just took my 2nd jab. I am wondering if it is safe to conceive before the 3rd or even, how long after the 3rd to be considered safe?

Anyone with experience can share?

Usually not advisable to initiate the vaccination if pregnant but since u already taken the 1st dose it should be ok. No documented harm yet i guess. Do however ask ur doctor for better advice la.

What's a pap smear jab?

I know pap smear and I know cervical cancer vaccination jab, but what's a pap smear jab?

Why not you ask your gynae for advice? I'm sure she's the one who knows you best, when your pap smear is and what jab you are doing.

I was told if you plan to conceive, no advice for the cervical jab. After jab, need to have gap abt 2 years to conceive. My wife has enquire abt the jab before.

You can always ask doctor to confirm. My wife frens has took the jab and my wife taught want too, hence i ask not to take the jab first as we plan to conceive.
