Just curious, anyone knows how to multitask on iPad 2 , u know, like keep an app running on the background permanently, without jail breaking?

He means keep the app "running". Not in pause mode like what iOS is doIng aka fake multitasking.

It's not the multi-tasking you see on PCs. It's pointless to have multiple apps running full steam when you can only see one app at a time.

iOS 4 does provides additional services for 3rd-party apps to run in the background - for example fast app switching, or background audio, or push notifications. But iOS does not automatically make 3rd-party apps run in the background - the app's developer itself needs to make use of those background services that iOS 4+ provides.

I see, so the only way to to reli 'force' apps to run in the background is by using BACKGROUNDER after jail breaking it? That means I have to wait..

munak991, thanks, but I do know about that, that's not I meant, that basically only allows u to switch between apps, doesn't reli RUN in background, best it can do is reset apps, and also switching on iPod that was inhibited during games..
