He means keep the app "running". Not in pause mode like what iOS is doIng aka fake multitasking.

It's not the multi-tasking you see on PCs. It's pointless to have multiple apps running full steam when you can only see one app at a time.
iOS 4 does provides additional services for 3rd-party apps to run in the background - for example fast app switching, or background audio, or push notifications. But iOS does not automatically make 3rd-party apps run in the background - the app's developer itself needs to make use of those background services that iOS 4+ provides. |

I see, so the only way to to reli 'force' apps to run in the background is by using BACKGROUNDER after jail breaking it? That means I have to wait..
munak991, thanks, but I do know about that, that's not I meant, that basically only allows u to switch between apps, doesn't reli RUN in background, best it can do is reset apps, and also switching on iPod that was inhibited during games.. |
