Hello guys! Newbie here. Learning more about perfumes by reading previous posts. Do welcome me!
Anyways, I would like to know, what is this 'longevity' people seek in perfumes? |

Oh, I see. So longevity varies on different skin types, yes? Will give some a try then.

QUOTE(marver @ Apr 13 2012, 11:08 AM) True enuf,Is depend on the wearer where he/she apply the perfume. Thanks for the nice tip. But for the mentioned areas, do you apply to those areas all at once? Or do you apply randomly? Meaning, today here, tomorrow there. Normally a decent 3-4spray will do for a wrist, behind ear tip,and for me i do apply on back of the joint of elbow(Doesn't know what to call) Prefer on behind ear tip for its projection...Charms the girl ard u Try it out and enjoy ur fragrance...Is ur confidence |

QUOTE(kelthuzad @ Apr 13 2012, 03:34 PM) i find that sports, summer or aqua type of frags doesnt last long as long as say gourmand or oriental type, try to get oriental fougere type, last very long and smell nice,on my skin at least. So....Are there any good perfumes that don't cause all this? Added on April 13, 2012, 3:36 pm u are right, because whatever we spray on our skin, the skin will absorb it and go into our body.so dont ever buy fakes/grade AAA or rejects.yeah i try to spray on clothes too,but some fragrances dont develope if u spray on clothes...aih this is my concern also since i wear fragrance everyday, scared will have cancer cos of this 1 day |

QUOTE(killdavid @ Apr 13 2012, 05:01 PM) Actually i find spraying on shirt last alot longer than skin. You have to spray it in strategic places. Avoid sparying in areas that most likely get rubbed off like , the area that comes in contact with car seat belt or you bag strap. I find both sides of the collar to be good substitue for neck. Hahaha. For a while, I really thought you quoted Kelthuzad as in Warcraft Kelthuzad. Haha. I'd be epic fail if he said that.Only thing is like what kelthuzad said, fragreance develop differently on fabric compared to skin. With skin it depends on body chemistry, on fabric it develops neutrally. Anyways, yeah on fabric it would smell like how we smell them on the tester right? Wouldn't it? |

I see. Is it the same experimentation on deodorant sprays? I noticed when I spray on my body, it's different when I spray on my clothes. And yes the drydown, the end part of the deodorant smell is nice only when it was sprayed on my shirt.

Hey guys. What do you guys think of Clinique perfume? My friend told me to get it because it's sweet. I'm just not too familiar with the brand besides facial stuff and skin stuff. Opinion?
