Nice one bro. I got myself La Nuit aswell. How's the smell of Hanae Mori?
*
HM is a bit disappointing to me.. To me, it smells like sweet lemon, and a bit of floral.. I dont get the vanilla n choc dry down..

La nuit is damn awesome though. Love the sweet and spicy scent. How bout you?

hehehe yeah. but there was once, a Parkson of Pavilion branch staff offered me 4 or 6 vials lol. IF I buy its Issey Miyake L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme 200ml. funny man. some sales person when they are desperate for sale, they can be very generous tongue.gif

oh. is Kenzo Power suitable as a signature scent?

by the way, I'm looking something for a signature scent that have a really really good longevity. maybe as long or longer as Le Male's or A*Men.
I go to class. typical college life. the aircond is really cold. but when it is lunch time, it can be really hot out there. been rocking it for 3 semesters with Le Male as a signature scent. changed to Bvlgari's Aqva Pour Homme (due to the intense heat).
Aqva PH is good. but I am in search of something better. if you have any,  COD me the sample after the 20th.

thanks! smile.gif

L'eau d'issey seems to fit the bill, fresh smelling, long lasting & can be worn anytime.

Went down to Robinsons Mid Valley today and tried out Chanel's Platinum Egoist based on what you guys have stated in a few post ago. Got to admit that it smells pretty unique. The smell of the perfume is still on the piece of paper that they sprayed in on. Would definitely get this as my next perfume.  On the other hand, tried boss orange and boss bottled and felt nothing great about the perfume. Are there any other suggestions on which cologne that i should opt for when im going to purchase mine next month ? Have been using Armani's Code and Aqua di Gio and loved it. Looking for good silage and projection.

How bout some night out/sweet fragrances? Examples that come to mind are givenchy play intense, ysl la nuit, Dior homme intense, jpg le male, Thierry Mugler angel men (if it works for you) and more.

I just got play intense, loving the scent so far, coffee n vanilla goodness.

i have play intense too,i love it but problem is it has poor projection, others gotta be quite close to smell it.i prefer armani diamonds, lately i got the armani diamonds black carat, great basenote but not the same opening,i like the opening or the original armani diamonds

Projection is good for me. I've got colleagues that noticed the smell from a few feet away, not sure if they like it or not.

Havent tried diamonds, or other Armani colognes.. Will do in future

Needed some fresh scents, so I got myself versace man eau fraiche and L'eau d'issey pour homme.

Versace smells so good, fruity smell of citrus and apple-ish. Compliment getter.

L'eau d'issey opens with a citrus note (yuzu) that is very powerful at first, but dries down to a very woodsy scent for me.

Both are recommend, but my fave is Versace man eau fraiche.

Btw, nice collection there astroboy smile.gif

being a Malaysian, I confess: I HAVE NO CLUE ON YUZU. what do they smell like? what do they look like? how do their scent differ from mandarin oranges, lemon, or even a grapefruit?
I'll also admit that the first time I know anything about yuzu is from fragrance reviews on Issey Miyake's L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme
*
Actually, I'm not familiar with it also, closest experience is tasting yuzu ice cream. IMO it's lighter than lemon, but same vibe.

fat_lip2525, are you referring to Yuzu by the house of Caron??
*
Nope, referring to the yuzu note in L'eau d'issey. Not familiar with that one u mentioned.

Thanks for your feedback smile.gif

I was considering either one of these few :

A*Men - Thierry Mugler

La Nuit De L'homme - YSL

Pour Homme -Joop

Fahrenheit - CD

What do you think? smile.gif
*
IMHO those are quite loud and can be very strong. I do wear la nuit occasionally, especially if I have plans after work.

I would go with safer fresh scents for office use.

haha bro got any reconmendation?

coz BN forum say individuel similar to Original Santal, and Unforgivable smell similar to Millesime Imperial.. As Creed are way of my wallet, mah go try out this two, actually i did sniff out coolwater too... Dont get me wrong ya, just wanna try out those and one day got budget edi upgrade to Creed smile.gif

Actually i am looking for a versatile scent... pretty decent longevity and projection.
*
I blind bought individuel cos of the similarity with original santal. It's very sweet, berry flavoured sweets feel. Unique smell, but unforgivable is more versatile. Do try it out yourself first..

Anyone uses Acqua di Gio? I bought mine at Langkawi. Don't know if its fake, my perfume lasts only for 1-2 hours.
*
Should last at least 5 hours. How many sprays you put on?

QUOTE(edwardleong @ Dec 29 2012, 07:48 AM)
My night out scent is La Nuit de l'homme n Dior Homme Intense.

I get to cuddle with more girls with these two compare to I wear A*Men to club
*
I'm using both too, along with givenchy play intense biggrin.gif

Haha yea... Givenchy Play Intense... Had a hard time decide between it and DIor Homme Intense...
*
I prefer DHI too, just that it doesn't last as long as I want it to, since it's an eau de parfum
