i've already got Sean John's Unforgivable and Hugo Boss Soul currently.

I'm looking for a third bottle now, something suitable for casual sunday afternoon yumchar and maybe the office.

I find both the Soul and Unforgivable a tad unsuitable for office use, they're much too dress-like. Hence they're very underused.

Considering CH 212, or the "staple" Polo Sport. Also considering Cool Water, while Bvlgari Black looks an interesting addition too.

You have an eye on common frags, why don't you try something a lil bit rare?

Wow ! Don't think you need so many do you?

Well I don't think it's the perfect timing for the scents you are hunting for, every designer is introducing summer scents now. You should have save your money and wait a lil longer, maybe you could find a scent you liked on the following months.

Several 2011 summer scents are Davidoff Cool Water Summer Dive, Armani Code Sport, CK One 2011 Summer

I don't encourage buying so many at once but maybe you got the bucks haha.

I think it's like choosing fresh apples in the market, you got to know how to choose the right apple out of so many others combining unfresh, rotten, not so sweet apples.

Please do so.  laugh.gif
Comme De Garcons is a designer frags? There's a lot of niche frags that you tested before, some of them I never heard of it before.
Thanks for the feedback, Gucci Pour Homme II is the best. Though lack of projection. How about other suggestion, besides these two?
Which of course, the one that projects well, not close to skin fragrance.

CDG can be considered niche.

Isn't he the Black Swan actor? Never thought he could be the face of La Nuit De L'Homme.

You know, what's good about french advertisement - is they are really particular in way to describe the fragrance itself. Another example.

I'm not sure but try to watch this. biggrin.gif This is really energetic, the name should be Mademoiselle instead of Madame.

lol, dont worry about getting too cloying, since they wont compliment about nice perfume, i doubt they would complain about getting slightly cloying too =P

Channel Allure Homme Sport is nice too.. well for me it doest last as what i expected.. but the dry down is nice..

hehe

Today's scent of the day is user posted image

Woody Woody Woody, dry down is slight vanilla-ish...

It smells like Thierry Mugler A-Men, but instead of sweet vanilla, imagine wood+vanilla...

i sprayed this early afternoon, now is 10:30pm still can get slight whiff of it..
I had interesting session today, there is a place in Singapore which they provide essential oils, perfumes that they made themselves.., home products and custom perfume if you are interested, they also have very nice perfume bottles as well,

the nice people there actually provide some information about perfumes, how its composed, sampling of some raw notes, and actual ambergris and also oud...

the jasmine that is produced raw doesnt smell anything like synthetic jasmine..

Added on June 25, 2011, 10:44 pm

you will be surprised how much they would spend on the marketing and advertising the product... rather than the the product - ingredient vs cost.

Have a read of The Scent of the Nile

er.. Amouage's line...
does it worth the $$ for the ml vs longevity

anyway i've smelled Amourage Gold... quite frankly i dont find the bang for the buck for it, i can always loook for alternatives that is 200% cheaper than that..and it last quite the same..

and certain line is quite the "keling" or arabic feel, in which you can find the almost the same smell as those essential oil you will find in an arab street..

to an untrained nose, your $400 ultra niche perfume would smell just as the same as a $40 per 50ml essential perfume..

why not save the budget and find something more uniquely done..at least to an untrained nose, it smells something unique, weird, unable to relate to anything..

I see. I hardly get into any higher end perfumes. I haven't smelled any others like Serge Lutens,
Creeds and etc.

Tried Bvlgari Mon Jasmin Noir today.

I have to say it's superbbbbbbbbbbb! Smells delicate but you still could recognize the jasmin note lingering in the air !

So pleasant ! Longevity is above average though I expect more.
Sillage is just fine, not too loud so you won't offend anybody around.

It's a women perfume btw, however it can be considered unisex. Sadly it's largest bottle is 75ml EDP only.

I'm considering on this fragrance ! biggrin.gif

Avoid excessive spray to shirt. It might damage the fabric itself. How close to skin? I say 1-2 inches away.

Based on my experience, so far my shirt isn't damaged.
I've been spraying on my shirts like 1 month already tongue.gif

^Jonny uses Prada Infusion D'Iris. Not all the women perfume is wearable for guys actually. Some could but some couldn't. If only you know what I mean.

No wonder. Now I understood why sometimes you spray a bit much. Just now the office environment seems like eating up the scent. I'm no longer smell it. sad.gif
Is it true that Fahrenheit need certain body heat to project well?

Ciggy smoke totally masked up the scent. I'm surprised. sad.gif

Hey, you sure you needed that much on Fahrenheit?
Reviews said they are a beast in both lasting power and sillage?
