I find Issey Miyake to be a bit too strong. Yes I tried it out just by spraying it on a strip of paper, and that is only the opening note, but if I don't even like the opening note, I won't care whether if spray on skin it would have gone to middle or base note or whatever, I just won't like it. While Bvlgari Aqva smells ok, but I just associate it with those cheap perfumes like Adidas Ice Dive colognes. Armani Code is what I'm liking now

Just Parfum in Mid Valley or Sunway Pyramid, do they sell genuine perfumes?

One question: Anyone use YSL La Nuit here and is it suitable for daily perfume to wear for work/uni?

It's more of a night scent(fall/winter frangrance) is it that's why it's hard to pull off in our hot weather unless we only wear it out at night?

Ok how about Burberry London vs Armani Code? Which would u pick for daily perfume?

Or personally, what do u use for everyday use?

I see, any other perfume that is suitable for daily,daytime use to wear for work/school/anywhere? There are a lot of nice perfumes, but a lot of perfumes must see what is the setting suitable for it..that's why hard to choose

I see, but would it give headaches for others? That is important, maybe some people can get headache if they smell too strong perfume on you

One more question: Any brick and mortar shops in Klang Valley where I can get free samples of perfumes? You know, maybe I want to just use a particular scent for once or twice only, don't want to buy a whole bottle

Well that's the thing, I would spend some time outdoors too, and under our hot weather ,we sweat very easily. I heard some ppl say La Nuit can make ppl get headaches because it's quite sweet or heavy when it's hot.

My preference? Maybe more towards citrus/aquatic and not too manly or those that smell too generic.

I don't know, if I say in general, I like citrus/aquatic smells. But I'm not knowledgeable in perfumes, and so I pick what smells nice and have good reviews on the internet. So far La Nuit and Amani Code definitely fits that bill. And I want a perfume that is suitable for youths(young adult age, not mature age) and maybe for sports too, because I go outdoors a lot and sweat buckets. So basically I want a perfume that's more suitable for youths not mature men, a perfume that can make me still smell good after sweating outdoors and a perfume that doesn't give headaches to me or others when under hot sun, but must also be good for indoors/aircon. Everyone here, do give more suggestions

And damn right with ur sentence in bold man, that's what I think too. Chemicals in the perfumes...not sure if safe for long-term. But when u spray, u would inhale the particles too anyway. What is ur opinion on that? And I thought u perfume lovers never spray on clothes because it is not the same or something like that

I had wanted a perfume just to get the chicks. But I figure that it's better to be natural, don't mask our pheromones with chemical scents. If u think that perfumes can attract some girls, it can also turn off some girls who are allergic to it. So why not give all girls a level playing field? Just don't spray anything. No one's going to be allergic to natural smells. Just take good care of oral hygiene, bath twice a day, wear fresh clothes, look decent, and we would be attractive. Another important thing is confidence. And it's not necessary that men get confidence just from the perfume they are wearing. Confidence can also come from deep within ourselves or the knowledge that we are able to do something.

That's my conclusion. So basically, I'm not going to wear anything already. Save me the trouble of picking the right scent. Plus going natural won't give anyone headaches or turn off anybody who might be allergic to it. Like I said, give all girls a neutral smell

Ya I know u guys are perfume enthusiasts who just likes fragrances. I was just saying.

But I think there are girls who don't like any perfume at all or prefer natural/no smell. And what if they are hot? You end up turning them away

I don't see why hot chicks might not like what you are wearing. I mean, what can they not like in certain clothes? That's pretty shallow. And clothes is a different thing compare to perfume. Let's not compare.

I don't find pleasure in smelling nice. I prefer using nothing at all.

Oh yea I've actually been to BaseNotes to read two threads, one in Male Frag, one in Female frag section..with the title of 'which perfume gets u the most compliment' and 'which perfume do girls like the most. It was an interesting read, although there were so many pages, so I just read the first and the last page

I was trying to see which is the perfume that can get the most chicks too like them, but then I gave up la..different perfume attracts different girls..so I thought I might as well go natural.
