I'm using Sygic Aura 3.0, papago really not suitable for DHD, the gps lock time sucks, and the graphic....vomit......

i totally agree, using TB final version and unity v3 also, OC or standard also wont feel the difference in response and smoothness, it's THAT good. and battery is great, using 1% every 2 hours on standard clock speed (without wifi), 1% every 1.5 hours OC to 1.3ghz, 1% every 2 hours OC 1.3ghz with juice defender ultimate (with wifi on ALL THE TIME). Average use battery can last at least 2 days, heavy use can last at least 20 hours!

open terminal emulator and type this:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_available_frequencies

a lot of numbers will come out, EXAMPLE (DON'T FOLLOW, THIS IS FROM VIRTOUS UNITY KERNEL):

245760 368640 768000 806400 1017600 1113600 1209600 1305600 1401600 1516800 1612800 1708800

These r the voltage that can be used for OC, if u want to OC to 1.3ghz then go to system/etc/virtuous_oc and change the "MAX WAKE" value to 1305600, etc etc.

the voltage numbers is dependent on the kernel, so u'll have to know which kernel u r on or u type that command in terminal emulator to show all overclock-able values. After change value, save the file and restart phone, DONE!

u can remove the set cpu, set the OC in the virtous OC folder in system/etc/virtous_oc and reboot twice, yes that is TWO TIMES to enable the daemon script to be fully operational.

first, and i have to ask, is your phone rooted?

if yes, did u use the correct root explorer? there is 1 root explorer that is broken and cannot change to r/w, i've tried this before, so make sure u r using the right one

I noted that FP doesn't has any tips and tricks about gps (correct me if i'm wrong), maybe TS should put in tips and tricks post a guide of this. iamkent, if u still can't get a lock (i've said this thousands of times), make sure u try this:

1) remove any phone protection, skins or casings, sometimes these things tends to block gps receiving
2) do as above edan said
3) if still can't lock (papago sucks big time, i know, been there), use Aura Sygic

it's true, SOME casings will block, especially those condom type that cover the entire back of the phone. i'm using plastic snap on casing, cheap, tough and won't block signals, locks within 10 seconds

yup, the graphics are way more nicer than the crappy mamago

anybody here playing GRAND PRIX STORY by Kairosoft? did u experience crash and then boot loop on your phone when the game freezes?

yeah, super addictive, can't stop playing it (for 4 hours non stop) until it freezes my phone and reboots it into BOOT LOOP! after clearing cache it boots normally, but after a couple of hours again freeze and boot loop..............

haha maybe that's the problem, i OC to 1.3ghz
