QUOTE(Adriel @ Jul 5 2011, 11:40 AM) I don't think you didn't really understood my question. Plus all my previous reply on a soft reboot and hard reboot. AD2SD using a ext2/3/4 on your SDcard as a space... i think you better copy all files on your sd card to pc first... then format the sdcard in clockwork and make 1mb space for ad2sd use.... full wipe phone... flash rom... flash ad2sd script... then see if its working or not. i dont have any experience with leedroid so dunno if ti can work or not...I am following the tips from Xda forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...postcount=14253 If this is too hard to understand I think let my change the question then. Why is my shortcut missing after I do a soft reboot on Leedroid rom? With this you will google up and get maybe the xda thread I linked above? :\ Then again all I asked was should I do the memory card first or after flashing the rom then do the memory card. This is really a simple question, but if you insist me explaining why then it is because I saw the thread from XDA forum who had the same problem I had and was told to create a a2sd+ card. I may be a newbie in this but if you are asking back me why then there must be something wrong by creating a a2sd+ card. Could you explain me why should I not create 1? By the way Soft reboot means: Solution: A soft reboot, by definition, is anything that uses only software to reboot the controller. Therefore, a soft reboot can be performed through the Reboot button in MAX or using the RT Reboot Controller.vi in LabVIEW (The LabVIEW Real-Time module must be installed on the Host PC to have access to the RT Reboot Controller.vi.). In a soft reboot, power is never removed from the controller. A hard reboot is defined as a reboot the removes power to the controller (i.e. pressing the Reboot button or unplugging the controller). The only technical difference is that a hard reboot will erase everything stored in RAM while a soft reboot will not. One cannot expect that things stored in RAM will be preserved after a soft reboot because RAM may be overwritten when the BIOS runs, and RAM will most likely not be allocated in the same way it was prior to the reboot. http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/C26...62573A600771CB4 |
