Different class, different regulations noob.
GT500 looks the same as road going cars only, everything underneath can be changed.
GT300 regulations restrict teams from doing too much modifications, and must keep to the original road-going car's engine and setup.

If you want to see the GT-R vs Murcielago under the same rules and regulations look at FIA GT1 World Championship where they compete under the same regulations.
