A43Sv, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M(2GB)@RM2599[2.44kg], [6-cell 5200mAH]

N43SL, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M@RM2599[2.4kg][Bang & Olufsen]

Both of them have the same price. Which of these is the better choice?

From what I have gathered, N43SL has a better design. But in what way is the design better? Does it provide better heat ventilation? And is the extra 1GB of A43Sv GPU worth it?

For gaming purpose, both of the laptop serve the same performance, but N43SL has some extra point is because of it is premium design plus better speaker compare to A43SL, so if you ask me which one to suggest you, I would definitely say N43SL gets my vote.

1gb 2gb ram wouldn't effect much on gaming experience in real life.

n43sl get my vote but if u want to opt for a43sv, the 1gb vram version should be suffice for gaming on laptop.

Unfortunately no. If you would like to have USB 3.0, you may think of Acer 4830TG with around the same price tag.

Why not the Acer 4830tg?
Thinner,longer battery life,USB3.0 Port,similar performance.

A43SV. I rather spend the extra money elsewhere and have proper chiclet keys.

In which cases would a 2GB VRAM provide a noticeable result?

General concern going around that heat emitted from gaming will eventually increase battery wear faster than normal. Never really bothered bout it personally.

Iirc, someone once told me that plasma wasn't suitable if you are going to have a static image (like a desktop) as it can get an image burn in.

under which situation, does 2gb vram make a difference, compared to 1gb vram, besides when it's connected to many monitors?

In other words, no difference if you're only gaming on your laptop laugh.gif
