Really 50L lah.. Tested and proven.. U keep 3L of petrol in 2 bottles and keep in ur boot.. Drive till the engine choke and die.. Then u fill the 3L in and u pump full tank.. confirm will pump 47L.

Yes, the transmission power loss matters...thats why I keep mentioning CVT vs Auto. CVT trany halves the power loss suffers by auto tranny. Against manual no fight, sure lar.

I'm comparing City with Persona H-Line Auto (nearest to City in term of specs) thus its actually 200kg lighter. Base line manual sure lighter with little tranny power loss. And City VTEC torque peaks at 3400, giving tremendous boost at low and mid-range power. At high end, I don't see much difference.

Hard to start, crank start longer? izzit? mine just change last 2month at 20k service and have that symptoms 

P is for Parking.. Its considered a parking brake.. Its there to help stop ur car in case ur handbrake fails.. Same like in manual.. When ur car stop u pull the handbrake then u put the gear into 1st gear, in effects locking ur car from being able to move..

It really depends if you want performance tyres or comfort wan. Also the price range. 912 will make quite some noise after 30% worn in most case. Performance normally noisy wan so I assume you're prefering a comfort tyres.

The recent Conti CC5 seems to garner quite some good reviews with adequate grip for a comfort tyre. Low noise also but then its still quite new.

Specs alone says new City coz PE is heavier (assuming auto vs auto at high spec), 4 speed auto vs 5 speed (still I think tipu wan, 2 overdrive mode), 122hp vs 110hp. But its the driver that can push car to the limit...so who faster....if you lose, he faster lor....if you win, you faster lor.. But then if you corner here and corner there using stock...city still lacks in handling vs PE....

My close friend drive a City and we race out the NKVE and Look Out Point hilly road last Monday. Top speed can still compete or should i say on par. Cornering / handling wise, Lotus handling  .

My friend driving a 4G VTEC City with CVT. Pickup = sucks because the CVT has a inching when u press on brakes. (Like free gear only).

Yeah. Pirelli PZero. Tyres that they use on continental cars. My cousin's M3 runs on those.

VTEC had 120 HP because of the dual cam profiles. Just like our CPS. So u can say that if Honda were to make a 1.6 equivalent engine, it'll be the iDSi version to compare with our IAFM.
Where got both 1.6... City 1.5.. And the latest City pickup slightly faster because of the gearbox.. Ours dono which era punya gearbox using till now.. Thats why our PE low end power a bit suffer.

Tyre price? Depends on ur budget lor. Cheap cheap RM 95 to expensive around RM 500-600 one piece also got.

No. There are DOHCs, but they only come in pure VTEC version. Not the I-VTEC. The SOHC engines that we see in normal honda's now are usually I-VTEC.

Even before naik harga, Pirelli tyre already exhorbitant price. Now....can empty pocket just to buy one.

Anyway Honda discontinued iDSI becoz real life data indicated FC improvement over its VTEC model is very negligible.

Also latest City pickup IS slightly faster than CVT version but by mid-torque CVT will start to overcome them.

AND City CVT pickup does not SUCK. I've always mentioned most ppl prefer the zoom zoom feeling. CVT DOES NOT convey that feeling but although it IS SLOWER a bit at initial pickup, if you are able to control the accelerator to increase speed according to its torque increment, you get OPTIMUM power at each speed increment. In another word, if you try the usual auto tranny way of acceleration, its not going to make the best out of CVT gear box and you'll feel underpower the petrol you tekan does not match the CVT steady BUT definite increment (optimum torque at each steps). Thats how CVT provides good FC and steady power increment.

Honda mentioned the reason to switch back to normal auto tranny is becoz asian loves vroom vroom feeling and unable to handle smooth steady increment of CVT although its the best at FC and power balance. I suspect most prob becoz its fragile and ultra expensive to replace..

I've kena tapau so many time by others at initial pickup but most I could overtake a short while later, (they seems to run a bit out of breath after initial acceleration but CVT keeps going and going and going). Only at higher speed could they match back side by side.

btw now Honda still got 3 stage VTEC meh...those are in the past already....but manyak makan minyak lor...

Normally cranking start time will be difficult cos the gapping voltage is huge.. So car might take longer cranks or a few times to do cold start..
Then at high rev time ur car cant accelerate as fast as it used to be and the top speed reduced also.. Cos too much misfiring, so ur car no more acceleration.. Or ur car when going high speed like got asthma like that.. engine choking..

Erm not IAFM not cannot use.. But as a forumer her once said i think after 2008 the cars are IAFM.. But take a pic of his engine bay to confirm lah.. Or take out his OEM filter and compare to urs.. If exact same size then its IAFM.. If its shorter and wider then its cam-tak-pro.. Dunno whether the works got manufacture for cam-tak-pro or not.. Have to call next monday and ask..

Buy insurance for ur gearbox.. Soon or later going to kong.. haha.. Jaga the torque converter sikit or u will be the first PE owner to rebuilt a low transmission lost torque converter..
the swifttttt sounds when after u turn the steering and straightened it back is due to the orifice valve.. Its normal lah..
Did they change the power steering assembly for u?? If hvnt.. Just tell them whenever u corner u hear some metal knocking on the right hand side of the car engine..
No ah.. Clean and clear.. LDP just now was abnormally less cars compared to other friday nights.. GUess all scared and was staying at home.. The Curve, Sanctuary, Library, Laundry etc etc normally will be packed on friday nights.. But today not even half full.. Was racing with an Isuzu Dmax from BU to sunway.. No matter how i tekan also the fella still can tailgate me.. Haiz.. PE not enuf torque.. Only above 140kmh was i able to built some distance between my car and the pickup..
Etiqa.. Faster claims... and insurance premium got extra discount also..
our PE confirm dohc lah.. haha.. the altis dual-vvti helps alot in exhaust valve controls also.. so it optimises the low end torque as well as high end speed.. Very good compared to CPS or Vtec in FC..

U wanna buy a car for RM 500-700??? sorry to say, but we're not living in UK where it's possible to get a car for 150 pounds -.-

With that money aa.. Go get a secondhand accord or camry lah.. Good highway cruiser..
