For savings purely on FC is to install grounding cable, air filter, denso iridium spark plugs, and lightened crank pulley and lightened cam pulley.. For performance, install full exhaust system first b4 going for lightened crank and cam pulley.

Yeah read that too.. its 30k miles.. so around 48k km.. But the 48k km is when performance starts to drop due to the head starting to become rounder instead of the pin like sharpness.. Lifetime of the plugs is still ~100k km. But advisable to change at 70-80k km.

Q. How long will Iridium Last?
A. Iridium use represents the most significant technological advance in automotive spark plug manufacturing, since platinum was introduced in the early eighties. As vehicle manufacturers produce increasingly complex and efficient automobiles, there is a greater need for long-life plugs that can tolerate leaner fuel mixtures and improved combustion processes.

DENSO has responded to this need by developing its Iridium alloy, originally for OE applications. For example, many newer Lexus’ and Toyota models carry an ultra long-life Iridium plug variation (.7mm with platinum tipped ground) that is capable of up to 120,000 miles of service.

DENSO Iridium Power plugs, with their .4mm center electrode, have been developed for performance applications. Because gradual wear will “round-off” firing points over time, the concentrated firing power and voltage requirement benefits will be reduced. For this reason, DENSO advises replacement after 30,000 miles.

As for the voltage requirement benefit, stock car ECU have a compensation feature to increase Voltage to the spark plug when the spark plug starts to wear out and the bridging voltage increases. Therefore performance difference will be minimal except in extreme cases where high revs are applied all the time.

FYI P2 SC also offer Iridium Power plugs in their service centre and if u change to those denso plugs they will stamp in the booklet that the plugs are valid for 100k km according to my friends service booklet.

If always start stop the engine and driving for short distance sure very makan minyak.. Mb 1 tank only can last 300km..

P is for Parking.. Its considered a parking brake.. Its there to help stop ur car in case ur handbrake fails.. Same like in manual.. When ur car stop u pull the handbrake then u put the gear into 1st gear, in effects locking ur car from being able to move..

Based on the last service date..

Nope.. U need to do service at least every 5k (if u use semi-synthetic oil) or every 10k if u use fully-synthetic oil.. It depends on how long u take to reach 10k.. If u take 1 year to reach 10k then its better off to do service around 9mths later cos oil do degrade from time to time. U dont need to stick to the schedule of 6mths diligently.. But try not to stretch it too long also..

Only ur first 10k service is 6mths from the date u bought the car.. Ur next 10k service (ur mileage shd be 20k) is 6mths after ur first 10k..

Normally cranking start time will be difficult cos the gapping voltage is huge.. So car might take longer cranks or a few times to do cold start..
Then at high rev time ur car cant accelerate as fast as it used to be and the top speed reduced also.. Cos too much misfiring, so ur car no more acceleration.. Or ur car when going high speed like got asthma like that.. engine choking..

Erm not IAFM not cannot use.. But as a forumer her once said i think after 2008 the cars are IAFM.. But take a pic of his engine bay to confirm lah.. Or take out his OEM filter and compare to urs.. If exact same size then its IAFM.. If its shorter and wider then its cam-tak-pro.. Dunno whether the works got manufacture for cam-tak-pro or not.. Have to call next monday and ask..

Did they change the power steering assembly for u?? If hvnt.. Just tell them whenever u corner u hear some metal knocking on the right hand side of the car engine..

No ah.. Clean and clear.. LDP just now was abnormally less cars compared to other friday nights.. GUess all scared and was staying at home.. our PE confirm dohc lah.. haha.. the altis dual-vvti helps alot in exhaust valve controls also.. so it optimises the low end torque as well as high end speed.. Very good compared to CPS or Vtec in FC..

Haha.. Its me who is doing the bulk lah.. XD.. Urs is IAFM right?
The Works drop-in dont need cleaning liquid to wash, its not like K&N.. But if u want cleaning liquid also can get it for u lah.. So shd i add u to the list? XD

Nope.. From Distributor directly.

I use tap water.. flush it for like 2mins.. Then let it dry under hot sun (make sure dont get curi by neighbours), then when completely dry ady fix it back.. XD
