I think your best choice is to jump aeroplane. Risky though. tongue.gif

If I were you, I wouldn't put much hope on migrating 'end of this year'. It's not easy to get a green card in US even if you work there for a few years on a proper working visa. They have been very strict since the 911 incident.

What are you working as here in Malaysia?

Try going to the states for holiday first before you decide that you are able to handle the lifestyle there. Not everyone will get used to a westerner's lifestyle. Many people come back to Malaysia when they find the grass on the other side isn't really that much greener.

TS,

I think the bigger picture right here is NOT about HOW to permanently migrate to US, it is about YOU running away from your problems.

Let's just say you qualify to migrate to the US, you are actually not solving your root problem at all. What you are doing is just running away from your problems rather than solving your problems. There is a very big difference between solving and running away from it.

You are all for running away from it judging from the irrationality of your responses and the sudden urge to migrate away from the small confine of your problems. Even if you successfully migrate to the States, I reckon you will not be that much of a happy man as well. I've been flying in and out of US for the past 3 years; and living among the westerners, it's a different world right here and basically I think you need to be mentally prepared for what to come and think it through rather than just simply say.. "I WANT TO MIGRATE".

But if you really made up your mind, I wish you all the very best, think you will need it.

Yes, migrating is not a overnight decision. It takes a few years to mentally and physically prepare for it. Not everyone is suitable for migration.
