Halp. My turboboost kicks in even when i'm idling. 
What happened? I restart 2 times but still the same.

"HP Recommended".. the Min State Processor State was set@100% I changed to 5% and it return back normal.
I've been using HP Recommended since day one but only today the TBoost went nuts. 

guys any free anti virus to recommend ?
avg seems pretty slow and suckish.
oh and i heard that instead of anti virus, some windows thingy is sufficient ?
any ideas ?

It should not have happen. I used it for almost 5 to 6 yrs, not encounter any problem with all laptop, pentium, due core, i7-740.

Due to my asus having heat problem, I formated it and installed dell with programs same as asus, even same version. (I kept the downloaded program for future use, did not delete them) That's why I am confuse now, dont know what is happening, windows update, or dell software ??

By the way, when I re-installing idm, I noticed 1 time, it stated incompatiblity regarding amd64. I google it, do not undestand.

Hi akash3656, im looking to sell my dv6-6114tx , just got it last Monday and havent used it at all besides taking it out of the box and testing it the first 2 days, Im willing to let it go for rm3100 without the beats headphones if you're still interested

OR, we could stick to the taskbar which we have been doing since Windows 95....all of these visual extras take a shitload of RAM and processing power....

I have tested, with all the gadgets like the network monitor, HDD monitor, RAM monitor, GPU Monitor...etc. All running, my laptop fan speeds up immediately....the second I close all the gadgets, the fan slows down....and CPU usage drops from 10% to 0%.

So pick, either eye candy and laggy gaming, or ok visuals and awesome gaming.

How long needed for them to reapply the thermal paste? If i brought it there that day, can they finish it on that day?

I'm pretty sure I didn't uninstall it.

But just to be sure, what is the name of the software?
