what kinda probs u have? I tested almost everything on mine, seems to be running fine.
Mayb i'll give a spin on some games later on... and see if the gpu is problem free.
But so far, all my apps, music, drives are working like they should. Only complain
is the plasticky, flexy lcd panel. I swear i could almost break it with 2 fingers.

BTW, anybody wanna buy my solo beats? Still unopened, shrink wrapped in a box.
Im too old for this hip accessory.

I think the only way to permanently switch to Radeon for 6114TX is configure all the executable files to run on "High Performance".

Of course plug out, because laptop will generate heats which may harming your battery if plug in.

One more thing, programs using OpenGL may not works, i.e. thay may still run on Intel graphic despite being set to run on "High Performance".
These are the main issue that the owner of DV6-61XX series are complaining about.

i think they mean by plugging out the battery to avoid decreasing the battery life.

there are always a group of people attack on certain brand no matter what, this is happen to all the brand not only HP.
but don't worry, dv6 are one of the best lappy in town biggrin.gif

only thing that i am not happy is the "dynamic switching" for the graphic device. sad.gif i really hope they can fix it in near future.
(but if you are not heavily using MAYA, after effect etc etc which require open GL, you should have no problem with this features, after effect run like shit with intel HD 3000)

oh thanks for the reply regarding the battery question. I have real life experience to share.

Previously I had a laptop before this DV6 that I plug out the battery all the time because I wanna increase the battery life span.

Well one day I had a power surge in my house. As a result my motherboard was burned because of the surge. I took the computer for repair and was told that if I had plug in the battery, I would have saved the motherboard.

Fortunately it was still under warranty, and I was grateful that I just have to pay for the transportation fee and not the motherboard.

Have another question here, I try to use the MiniTool Partition Wizard to do partition, I wanna create another 2 partition. However I have to change the C partition to logical first because I start creating the 2 partition. My question is how do I change the C drive back to primary again?

Hi All,

Can HP DV6001 TX match the new Asus Lamborghini VX7 Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM quad-core processor?
