Install 32-bit
64-bit MPC-HC won't work with 32-bit plugins/addons..

Untick DXVA ?

Try this.. run MPC-HC and open Options by pressing "O".

1) Click External filters.
2) Click Add Filter.
3) Select Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder and click OK.
4) Tick Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder and Click Prefer.
5) Click Ok and restart MPC-HC

I just got my DV6 1 hours ago, i try to play my movie with Real Media player and KM player...lag and hang like you..what is the problem? 1most of my movie is RMVB format

I only can use PPS player to watch smoothly..how come like this??

Ya i hav install MPC Home Cinema and have Real Alternative too...Lag when play RMVB with these two..only PPS can run smoothly

I solve my problem already. I uninstall and re-install back all the media player 

Anyway i did not regret with my 6001tx as the blueray disc is useless for me as well as 16 GB RAM haha

Hmm if you installed many player your codecs must be a mess... Have you tried uninstalling EVERY codec and player (excluding windows media player)?

After that use cc cleaner or something like that to clear codecs registry. then restart and reinstall MPC.

louisfjh.. quite normal for the temp! go safe mode f8 there uninstalled mpc-hc.. tried new 7.5.8 update!

o.O.... ok, well, it is still ok la... since you need it urgently. No harm with your 6001tx right? 
Why everyone's temp is so low one.... Mine played crysis 2 with U2 cooler with Coolsense Performance optimised mode the CPU temp is 92-95 degrees and the GPU is 86-88degrees.... I brought to HP service centre twice already and they said the temp is normal.... any other clue to why my 6114tx temperature so high???

Wa.... you played on battery mode??? Sorry wor coz i never tried playing it with battery (the high temp will kill the battery). Hmm... you all played for like 40-45 minutes? Me played around 40 something minutes also below 90, maybe long hours will exceed 90?   

Btw, wanna ask you guys who played crysis 2. The nano catalysts thing... will the number of nano catalysts you collected "disappear" or "decreases" when you quit the game, then resume the game? Sorry im using  hehe.... Because the first time i quit, then when i resume back, the number of nano catalysts dropped, then the second time i quit and resume, it all gone... have to recollect again.... haih.... and does all alien dropped nano catalysts? Or only some? Because not all dead aliens that i killed allowed me to collect the catalysts....
