Okay, hmmmm.
Can you all just hit on me Acer vs HP which are the pros and cons. My friends seems to be hitting on HP for having overheating issues and sly warranties and also money sucking but that beside the point. Definitely appreciate if you can help me with the questions. Like I said before, I'm quite the heavy gamer so I need one that doesn't overheat. And Faridz, I might take up that deal if I can see the light in HP =) |

IMO, HP has way better build quality than any Acer. |

i tried gaming with coolest mode, u3 and power saving mode. played crysis and darksiders, the temperature is around 70 when the core is running at 1kMhz, but it reach up 90+ when boost up to 2.5kMhz. is this normal temp when gaming? i scare it will burn up. so quickly stop the game after playing half and hour, will there be side effect going up to 90+ degres? 1 of the core even reached 96.

Some people's temperatures might be high because they play in a non air-conditioned room. Like I do. Thats why my temps are around 90C also

I think you should bring your baby to HP Service Centre and ask them to reapply thermal paste for you. 96c is way too high for this lappy. |
