ive sorta the same problem with you louisfjh...i use 3dstudio max and maya, but I can set directx/direct3d for 3dstudio max as its display driver so I think im ok..i guess

I have so much worries right now.... cause like they say logistic suppose to call me but i have been waiting for the whole day. They say my phone cannot get though. Then after that i call hp. Hp say they will call immediately... but still no call.

^ yes you can open whatever programs with radeon 6770.

I would suggest you wait for the CCC updates. For me, I think HP not gonna let this problem slip away. They have to do something.

here's a thing. it took freaking almost one month for one order. my gosh.. not that they customize the laptop design or spray or put our name on the laptop. for god sake HP please improve. if i know they are this slow, I rather buy at shop after this.. uhuk2... i order from 29 june, even the laptop status is shipped, but all other thing is in production. aiyoo

Hi louisfjh, just an update...Ive just read up that the most recent version of AutoCAD has gone over/supports DirectX, if that helps...you might want to double-check on that
