Hey guys, my 3GS bought last july having problems. Random shutdown, the battery dies around 20-30%, etc. How long is the warranty for Digi iPhone? What's the procedure and how long will it take? Anyone with experience can share?

Hey guys, my 3GS is having auto shutdown problems. Sometimes it will shut off with 30% charge and ask me to plug it in otherwise cannot boot. Almost 1 year old already and if I'm not mistaken iPhone warranty is only 1 year right?

What's the procedure to claim warranty from Digi? How long will it take?

hey secondrate..better u go to nearest digi centre or specialised store to claim the warranty..but before that make sure u bring a long the warranty card for verification...the digi staff will check the phone first( to justify the problem)..normally they will check the period of warranty whether already lapse or not, then they will ask about the warranty card n ic to confirm that u r the real owner of the phone. third, they will check the phone condition(charging port n the stereo headphone minijack) just to make sure whether got water damage or not, then they will check the sim tray to make sure the serial number at the sim tray r same with the serial number of the phone..after that they will take ur phone n ask u to wait for the replacement unit..it takes around 7-14 days to get the replacement unit n it depends on the availability of the stocks..u will get sms or calls from them when the replacement unit is ready for collection..if u r lucky u will get it within 3 days..hehehe...hope this can help u.....  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

hey bro, thanks for replying. Went to SS2 Digi today. The guy there took my phone for few hours to 'check' but he says the replacement will take 1 month and is a new 3GS? hmm.gif I thought no more new 3GS already. Should be getting iPhone 4 instead?

My whole family uses Digi and my iPhone 3GS contract is from 10th July 2010 to July 2012. Digi wants to charge rm 400 termination fee if I want to keep my number.

What do you guys think of this workaround for me:

My mum is using prepaid. She converts her prepaid to postpaid and uses the iDigi 88 plan (currently rm 60 only) while I take the phone and use my old plan. My current phone maybe I try to change the battery and give it to her later. I wonder if my mum will fully use the plan cause her phone is old K550i phone although she likes using Gmail on her prepaid tongue.gif

Hey guys, this question more related to DiGi but... this number 0169315602 keeps calling me until early morning also got. So far the only app to blacklist properly is a jailbroken app and it costs $10! So I was wondering if DiGi can blacklist for me.

I'm using iPhone 3GS.

I see, if you were planning to use apps to blacklist the number why not buy from Apps Store which only cause you 1.99USD cheaper than the one you said jailbreak want? http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/blacklist/id310726855?mt=8
*
That one doesn't work. I got another one for $0.99 and all it does is let me know the number is 'blocked'.

last time my fren kena, but she's on maxis... they say you have to lodge a police report first then only they can block the number for you... guess u have to find the right app.
*
Sigh... nevermind on DiGi then. iBlacklist from Cydia is the only one that works properly and it costs 10 dollars doh.gif

LOL... 10USD = around RM30++ is it worth just for a number @@"... Why not just ignore the call? If he call at midnight put your phone in silent mode then should be ok smile.gif
*

Haha, he just kacau kacau only... Save his number and set different ringtone to that contact so next time when you heard different ringtone then you know it's him then you don't need to rush here and there then  thumbup.gif
*

from digi prepaid cannot change to postpaid, but if u are maxis or celcom prepaid u can port over to postpaid =) *correct me if i am wrong*
*
Yes you can. That is how I got my 3GS last time. I haven't changed my number for 7 years smile.gif

BUT I did want to change my mum over from prepaid to postpaid for the iPhone 5 and the Pyramid Digi staff said we have to buy the phone on launch day itself.
