You wouldn't use Digi anymore after reading what i have to say....

This is really the right place for me to release my ANGER!!!!!!

DIGI...........SUCKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I signed up for Digi Broadband last year October, couldn't use it at all, made complaint 3 times at the digi centre, called their customer service, technical service, room service, whatever service you can named, even changed the modem, still didn't work.

March this year i finally cancelled the service, not without a big fight with Digi. They want me to settle the bill first but i argued why should i pay for the service which i DIDN'T use?  By right Digi should compensate me for all the inconvenience they have caused me!  I needed the internet service while i was on the road for business!!!!  I ended up looking for places with free wifi, what a nightmare!  Then i have to take time off from work to visit the Digi centre in Time Square, spent on a lot on parking as well. Wasted time and money!!!!!

I told them straight off I wouldn't pay, not because of the money, because of your fxxking lousy service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After a long argument finally they cancelled my broadband service.  Ok, here comes the climax, 2 weeks after cancellation, i received calls from Digi debt collector saying i owed them RM200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ladies and gentleman, I am writing to consumer tribunal to complaint the hell out of Digi, and i will spend the rest of my life, whenever i am free or have the opportunity, to tell people about my extremely horrified experience with Digi. I will make use of all the social media available on planet Earth to tell the WORLD how poor a service and how unreasonable their people and policies are.

And Yes, I wanted to do the same thing, I want to cancel ALL my Digi lines (now having 4 post paid line registered) and switch to Celcom.
*
hmmm, just curious. your problem is lie on the broadband service or digi iphone service? 2 different case here.

anyway, none of the M, D, C giving good service or excellent service. each service define by individual owner. so far, i have no problem with digi and their customer service yet... although the service sometimes very bad.

the price for iphone itself - Maxis/Celcom are the cheapest.

the plan itself - Digi will be better choice but coverage is not as good as Maxis/Celcom if you are outside klang valley.

yala..im noticed in certain area like in damansara utama i got full bar of 3g but couldnt make a call or received a call or sms...after turn of 3g solve this problem....hmmm  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

pretty normal and immune to the 3G speed now. only switch on 3G if need to surf, otherwise will keep Edge which is more stable.

when switch ON 3G, it will last for few mins before it stop responding. so have to turn OFF and ON again. complaint to Digi also no point.

now just stick to it until contract end.

when Digi launching ip4, the speed much more faster and now, the speed almost same with Edge (during peak hour at night).

hope they will upgrade it then...

but be careful. when you unsubscribe the 3rd party apps, sometimes it will charge based on the sms received. it can be as much as RM3 to RM4 per sms.

wow... drool.gif quite expensive lor...  sweat.gif

this is their marketing strategy now to earn money.

if you see those advertising in tv, asking you to send sms to subscribe something, see the fine print there... it stated RM3 or RM4 per sms received. so if they send you 4 sms today, so charge you RM16 for it.

lately digi having some problem. even on Edge.... saying no internet cellular *ahhh*.

heard that other telcos user also kene like this...  hmm.gif

normal. i get it before on my celcom line when i apply for celcom broadband (data plan only).

when start using it, receiving a lot of sms asking me to subscribe these and that. so ignore it. when bill arrive, was charge around RM90++ for the sms alone.

call customer service and tell them. they said i go and subscribe it. i told them im using broadband data plan only, not phone service, how to subscribe it. then they accused me saying my siblings go and subscribe it for me and bla bla bla. had a long talk to with them and finally they understand im using broadband mobile.

so they waive it for me...and it repeat again next month.

and YES, you are right, it happen on other telcos too.

once you subscribe something there it goes...many sms will pop up in your phone and u been charge even if u did not subscribe anything, u will been charge for that....and this all telcos will deny it and saying that it is third party and cannot do anything but actually they have related some how...if not how they can get profit...this is their marketing strategy...giving a 3rd party to earn and they also get some benefit what...this is normal issues, it happen quite sometime already...just be careful and do check your bill every month it comes...for those who did not check and take thing easy...this is what will happen to those ppl...until one day u realize u have pay something u did not used....btw not only this telcos only even telekom also the same...
*
agreed. when i argue with customer service, they denied it at first. when i explained mine is broadband service only, then they realize it and say will revert back all the charges.

first, they said cant do anything due to 3rd party - blaming the user go and subscribe it.
second, once realize, then they can reverse it easily.

like you said, is their marketing strategy. i wonder why the government didnt do anything about it.

i was also warned by my fren that.. using wifi at overseas was not exactly safe also..
he says upon the wifi signal is weak/disconnect.. our line will be connected to the local telco and start charging per kb..

dunno how this actually works but better bkful in doing everything  biggrin.gif

just need to turn off the cellular data OFF and data roaming OFF will do.

somehow iphone are smart enough to find a loot to connect to internet without our realization.

hai there, u need to pay rm1990 for the price of the phone...every month u will pay the bill for rm58+(6% gov tax) provided if u not use more than free usage quota, if u use more than free quota for call/sms or mms they will charge u at the normal rate...for internet they will not charge u if u exceed the 1gb data..only the speed will be throttled down..

after 24 months u will choose either to change to other plan or to convert it back to prepaid number since the contract already lapse...  nod.gif
*
to add-on. all sms to overseas country - will be charge separately. is not free as given by Digi 200 free sms.

For your first question, the RM600 rebate is just show how much total you had saved in the promotion i.e. RM25 rebate/month for 24 months.
No you don't get any rebate after the contract.

For the second question, DiGi will not give you any rebate. You signed the contract on RM88 plan, that's is.
Frankly speaking, when I first saw DiGi reduce their package pricing from 88 to 63, I do feel bad for those who sign up earlier with 88 price tag.
*
if you see it now, they further reduce it from current price.

Digi giving good price for phone itself, but the line signal very bad. Inside my office, can get 1 or 2 bar. if put inside pocket, sometimes showing no signal.

Now more and more people sign-up Digi, the 3G speed getting worst.
