Right. No 1-year plan, No-phone only, No-iDigi Plan only. You must sign up for 2 years, iPhone 4S and Plan.

Initially I planned to buy the 4S from Apple Store and sign up iDigi Plan. When I called up the Helpline, I was told that it is not allowed. I can go for the smartplan where I have to pay RM48 for 1G data (unlimited when in Edge mode). Whatever call and SMS I made, I have to pay RM0.15

Which means they want me to buy the phone from them too.

Added on December 16, 2011, 2:11 pmLined up at Digi Center Pulau Tikus PG since 7am this morning. 30+ people in Q before 9am. A total of 160 units available as they pasted a notice on the glass door.

Just to share:
I signed up iDigi 88 20 months ago when Digi first lauched their iPhone - 3Gs. I went for EPP 24 months which means my CCard has paid all to Digi and I have to pay back the bank every month (phone+plan). I only have to pay Digi direct for those calls/SMS exceeded the 200.

So for this round, in order to keep my phone number, I have to go for CHANGE OF PLAN. My balance of 4 months (the rebates come to almost RM400) have to let go. Which means when my CCard Statement comes, I have to pay my 21st installment for old plan (3Gs+iDigi) and 1st installment for new plan (4s+iDigi).

You are right. You will only be charged if you called more than 200 minutes or made more than 200 SMS or 20 MMS. The data is unlimited (3G+Edge).
