hi, abit confusion, from the digi website,http://www.digi.com.my/iphone/getone_want_iphone_payment.html
it is mean i pay rm1990 upfront for the phone 16gb, then every month i pay rm53 ( auto billing) provided if i dont over call?

am i right? any other charge ? i know there is 6% tax, how about others?

another question, can maybank2u use as auto billing too? how it works?
and does white iphone turn yellow by age?

Apple delayed the launch of white IP4 due to this "turning" yellow issue, and after 6 months delay, they have managed to ensure it wont turn yellow-ish.... so it should be safe...

But wont Digi be really happy if it does indeed turn full yellow....  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

i read from post, they said delay of launching due to the antenna issue wor.. still got ppl complain their ip4 turn yellow., u check google.
and my colleague 3gs turn yellow too.

You can change to Digi and retain your current number, but it will take one day for the process to be completed...

The RM53 per month is your package minimum payment per month, and you will be given a fixed allowance (SMS, Data 1GB, etc)... so its the amount you pay per month, tied to contract period (12 or 24 or 36 months)... if i recall correctly, the diff is the longer the contract period, the lesser the amount you need to pay for the iP4...

The screen turning yellow is dependant on the screen itself and the manufacturing batch and the screen batch... it has nothing to do with the color of the iPhone... I have 2 3GS and both screen color are diff, yes, one is slightly yellow... but the screen have not turned yellow as compared to day one...

iP4 uses a different screen than the 3GS, the retina display... and so far there are not much complain of it...

EDIT: Sorry, my mistake... the delay was due to the white not being uniform white, and they kinda rectified it...

White turning yellow is mainly due to the UV rays from the sun, and over time all white items will turn yellow... admittedly, iPhone whites will turn yellow but it may not turn too yellow too fast, maybe just in time for you to get iPhone6...??

Oh yea, why arent you waiting for iPhone5..??

iphone 5 will launch in US next month. not sure in malaysia, cant wait.
what is the major different with ip4?
awww,, i buy this phone mainly for long term usage, i not that kind of ppl that following trend

rm200 rebate is deducted for from 1990..thats why i telling u the actual price is rm1790 but u pay rm1990 in which rm200 will be credited equally within 24 months of ur monthly bill..  nod.gif

i not understand.
now i pay rm1990 upfront for 16gb ip4.
then every month i pay Rm58 + 6 % ( provided i never use the plan exceed )
then where they deduct the rm200 over 24 months?

are you mean, the actual plan is Rm70, what they showing in the website is the rebated price which is Rm58 every month?

The 200 deduction is one time deduction from the RRP price for the iP4 which is 2190, that is why you are paying 1990 for the iP4 16GB.  As for the 24 months deduction, it is the RM30 deduction from your iDigi 88 plan where the original fix monthly charges is RM88, but during promotion period u are paying RM58 for 24 mths (RM30 deduction over 24 mths)

Total saving is RM200 {one time} + (RM30 x 24) {RM58 = RM80 - RM30, over 24 months} = RM920

So your actual iP4 price is 2190 (RRP) - RM920 (total saving) = RM1270 (as advertised on digi website)

hope it help u to understand how it works

oh. great explaination.
means original, the phone is Rm2190, the plan is Rm88/ month.
now after rebate and discount, the phone is rm1990, the plan is rm58/month.

after 24 months, i have to pay back rm88/ month? or still entitle with rm58/ month?

Added on August 15, 2011, 11:04 pmi am prepaid user, can i just buy iphone from outside, and get data plan from digi( for surf net purpose). i will still use prepaid, because i never make more than rm10 call / months. usually i will wait for bf to call me back as he has free phone from company.

if there is something like this, how much / month?
