It depend area I see, should check the coverage before switching. My area here Kajang can get 1mb+ speed always with very stable 3G regardless morning and night.

i agree with u bro..before switch check coverage lor...at subang area also got full bar 3g n stable speed also...didnt have any issue on coverage...

i from cheras and my girlfriend from subang. a lot of times the line get cut off and the line so blur sometimes i can't even hear what she said

As for the line issue, i think is just several place having tis kind of problem. Puchong here so far still ok.

KLCC area & Wangsa Maju O.K. full speed. Home town so..so.. but luckily hometown got streamyx to tap on via Wifi.

In shopping complex would Suxs at time.

Hey guys, my 3GS bought last july having problems. Random shutdown, the battery dies around 20-30%, etc. How long is the warranty for Digi iPhone? What's the procedure and how long will it take? Anyone with experience can share?

Maybe you haven enable 3G on your phone? haha..
Serdang is quite ok line too, although 3-4 bars only but still can get 0.8mb.

Yup, have to agree 3G in Sban have improved a lot this year. Not full bar everywhere but speeds are still consistent. I have a friend who stays in Kajang and is cursing digi on a daily basis. Still don't understand about why such a high density area and so poor coverage.

Hey guys, my 3GS is having auto shutdown problems. Sometimes it will shut off with 30% charge and ask me to plug it in otherwise cannot boot. Almost 1 year old already and if I'm not mistaken iPhone warranty is only 1 year right?

What's the procedure to claim warranty from Digi? How long will it take?

hey secondrate..better u go to nearest digi centre or specialised store to claim the warranty..but before that make sure u bring a long the warranty card for verification...the digi staff will check the phone first( to justify the problem)..normally they will check the period of warranty whether already lapse or not, then they will ask about the warranty card n ic to confirm that u r the real owner of the phone. third, they will check the phone condition(charging port n the stereo headphone minijack) just to make sure whether got water damage or not, then they will check the sim tray to make sure the serial number at the sim tray r same with the serial number of the phone..after that they will take ur phone n ask u to wait for the replacement unit..it takes around 7-14 days to get the replacement unit n it depends on the availability of the stocks..u will get sms or calls from them when the replacement unit is ready for collection..if u r lucky u will get it within 3 days..hehehe...hope this can help u.....

still ok in my room jb only 1 bar without edge or gprs... only one bar.. one bar.. one bar!! im going crazy. cheap plan cheap coverage. we got wat we r paying for..

Cheap plan, cheap line? Well, thats life. Maxis is far superior but can tahan bill shock or not? No such thing as a perfect telco. Well, like what's been mentioned before, do homework first before committing to any line. Get a friend with that line to go to your most common location (ie home, office or campus) and see their phone signal strength. At least that way no shock after signing up and if signing contract, even more important to do some research before commiting.

You know when if its in your house that Digi has no line all, they got a serious problem. I haf switched from Digi to Maxis and never looked back
