My friend fail to topup for me, then I chat with digi about my questions.
"We regret to inform you that DiGi Prepaid package cannot transfer credit to DiGi postpaid plans. The credit transfer can only be done from prepaid/ postpaid to prepaid packages. Moreover, iDiGi customers cannot use prepaid top-up. We apologize for any inconvenience caused."

Hello, I'm thinking of changing to maxis to digi with the iphone plan. When i first came to the page, apparently this just got my attention :

"Advice to MNP Port-in Customers

All customers wishing to switch / port-in to DiGi should ensure that they have cleared all outstanding payments with their current service provider
If you are a supplementary line holder, we recommend converting to a prepaid line with your current provider before switching to DiGi"

I'm using supplementary line now, so does it mean that I really need to change to prepaid first? Quite ma fan right? I've recently changed to postpaid this year :/

Can't I just straight cancel my line without changing to prepaid?

And if I wanna change to digi, should I first go to digi or maxis centre? Heh newbie here. Thanks! smile.gif

U can cancel ur Maxis line & register DiGi line with NEW NUMBER.

To all the sub-line, u need to get principal line holder sign the form with u in the Maxis center to allow ur line convert to PREPAID line & under ur registration name. After convert to prepaid, then u can port in to DiGi & ask them to change ur line to POSTPAID line immediately. Is abit 'ma fan' but yet u can continue using the current number as ur fren wun lost contact with u & u also no need to 'ma fan' send SMS to notice ur fren or relative tat u have change number.

as far as I know, it is not necessary to convert to prepaid line first, there is an alternative way to port over to Digi and retain your current no. Here is what u can do:

Since you are currently a supplementary line;

At Maxis:
1. Apply to change your line from supplementary to principal line. This have to be done by the principal line holder
2. Settle all your outstanding amount with Maxis

At Digi:
3. Apply to port from Maxis to Digi, this usually will take around 24hrs.
4. Digi will give u a SIM car on the spot, but you can't use it until Maxis release your line from them. You will get an
SMS alert once it is done.
5. Once Maxis release your line from them, you current MAXIS SIM will not be able to use immediately.
6. Now, change your SIM from Maxis to the SIM card given by Digi. You shd be able to use it immediately with Digi SIM
7. Goto, Digi center and apply for the iDigi iPhone plan.

This is how I did mine, it took me 2 days to kau tim.

Hope it helps

Hey all, sorry for not informing that I would like to maintain my current number.
Thanks for helping and replying me smile.gif
But just now I've just called them and they said that I dont have to go to maxis centre.
And I can just straight go to digi centre or specialised store to change my line to digi.
The process would be done within 24 hours and if maxis approve it. That's what the dude told me.
Then, if I want to apply for the iphone plan, he told me to go to digi centre to do so.
As for supplementary line, he said bring the principal line holder to sign the form for me.
Anyway, the principal line holder and other supplementary lines under that would be also changing to digi.
Therefore making it easier. Heh smile.gif
But i'm still kinda confused whether to listen to you guys or that dude when i called digi. Haha
anyway really thanks a lot to you all smile.gif
I'll go to digi centre tmr to change my line then smile.gif
Hope it's easy and fast :/

Btw, another thing I wanna ask, if i use the 3g, whenever I'm outside or there's no wifi connection around me, will the 3g internet connection be good/strong/stable? Heard that it's slow and not stable. Used my friend's phone to do so last time, it was reaaaallyyy sloww :/

its better for u to hear the digi operator..coz they know well about it...
about 3g...its base on the coverage strength...if that area in a 3g coverage area, the line will be stable...im using digi 3g to online n definitely it differed based on the area... nod.gif

guys, my iphone has got a weird problem. whenever the battery reaches below 20%, the phone just dies off completely. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESTART THE PHONE/ HARD RESET, or whatsoever.

The only way to turn it back on is to charge the phone. And when the phone is back on, the battery would be at 3% left?

Was wondering whether i could send in for warranty claim though?

SERIOUS HELP NEEDED. ): THANKS.

My warranty is from digi btw1

Hi fellow seniors here,

I'm still abit confused with iDiGi88 plan,
if I wanna get the plan I pay RM58 flat rate for 24 months unless I exceed the usage limit or I pay RM144.40 flat rate for 24 months?

P.S. Is it wise to get the iPhone 4 now since I've been hearing iPhone 5 is coming out on October.
