QUOTE(phythia79 @ Jul 9 2011, 11:01 PM)
The reason for the delay was the blardy screw up my line. The SA gave me the wrong sim card and somehow my number was activated for a guy in Sabah. Luckily my mil was trying to call me and realized that a man answered my phone (lol), then called my hubby to find out if I was ok or I lost my phone. That's how I found out. Call my own number and the guy was also confused as his original number is different too. He had been receiving my calls and smses since last night.

Of coz..I screw them up and down..finally they asked me to go to the Digi centre to change my sim (again) and the SA apologised for her mistake.

I asked them who will pay if the guy make any overseas call on my line?? At first, Digi said that they'll refund. I told them no way! It wasn't my fault and I'm not gonna wait for months waiting for refund and neither am I gonna write a letter asking for refund.

In the end, Digi will waive rm50 (Digi postpaid plan dg50) and will not charge any outgoing calls or SMS made yesterday and today.

They better as they may lose loyal customer (been a Digi subscriber for nearly 10yrs)

wow...at least u know the reason why u have to wait for so long..small mistake by the SA can leads to this problem and luckily u manage to get monthly rebate from digi...such a good news u receive from them n the way the solve the problem also seems to be good..hehe brows.gif brows.gif

UPDATE:
sorry, finally able to reload, need many many tries, and the *126# and *128# also seems intermittent. smile.gif

Assuming you are talking about sim pin. Call DiGi, ask them to reset your sim lock pin.

I have deduced that DiGi line at my office is not so good for iPhone 4...signal quite erratic...has line 3 bars..to no line...and then 3 bars (but this time, it didn't just stay at no service). Previously, I never encountered such problem when i was using Iphone 3G (always at 3 bars).

At home...it's pretty fine..4-5 bars..which means the phone is ok.

Now i also recall that my boss used to complain when he was using DiGi on his old school Samsung Phone...when he's in his room..there's no line.

also means that iphone 4's antenna is not as sensitive or strong compared to the 3G.

Arrghh!! I'm getting irritated with the line! gosh! i never had any problem..but when change to my dreamphone..it gives me problem! vmad.gif

its there any possibilities if the contract account transfer from the previous owner to me instead?..

if the answer is no, better for me to sell it off and wait until next iphone out into a market.

I think most fastest way to solve iPhone signal problem is use bumper. I'm using one and so far ok for me, although I do admit 3G signal inside buildings is weak but then again, this is digi after all. Lots of patience required when long term friend with the yellow man :-)

one reason, all Telco has a stronger coverage at different areas. So to say, your working place isn't that ideal for Digi at the moment.

just be patience =)

either that you can switch to other telco whistling.gif whistling.gif

patience is the key for digi user...last year my area(kg baru subang) didnt have 3g coverage for digi n the coverge only 3-4 bars..this year they have improve the coverage and upgrade to 3g coverage and i received full bars on 3g coverage...quite happy and satisfy know...no need to turn on wifi to surf the website coz their 3g coverage is so stable here... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
