hmm... interesting... i just googled the H2 and its 6.0 liter v8 produces only 325hp and 365nm of tourqe..
the H1, which is the civilian version of the military humvee, has a 6.6 liter turbo diesel v8 which produces 300hp and 520nm of torque

i thought with all that displacement the engine would produce much more horsepower

thats because it has twin turbos... not to mention it uses the rotary engine which explains the low displacement... the H1 is a 6.6l TURBO diesel V8 that produces a mere 300hp vs the rx-7's 1.3l twin turbo rotary 276hp... no contest
the only good side to the H1 is that huge tourqe

guys.. u're looking at this the wrong way.. the humvee was not design to go fast... rather it was design to carry equipment and personnel... that would explain the medium horsepower, high tourqe capacity... it may not be able to reach 200mph going uphill, but it can go uphill fully loaded slowly but surely...

huh? initial D with a hummer?

dude.. rx7 weights about 1300 kg, the hummer weights 3000 kg... although the rx7 has slightly less horsepower, the power to weight ratio is more than the hummer.. u wont have any problems going up to genting..

nope, i was the gunner. My pilot was this clan member (can't remember what) called crow.
He's really good. He kept lining the chopper up for me to take you guys out. Very good teamwork.

I believe that guy was [XEF]Rel Centurica. He was pissed cause i kept sneaking up to him to take him out.
