Bro, getting the card ar? How many cards you have now? Haha, this time I busybody.

I thought to apply at UOB booth for free gift + free RM38.... This can be my 5% Cash-back Petrol CC.

I called UOB CS to check on my application status. They received the application and under processing.

Then just few minutes after the call, another lady called me and asked several questions that I felt offended:

1. Ask my mailing address.
2. Why I work at another state but the mailing address is different.
3. Where I work? Didn't I state that in the form?
4. When she can call me to my office phone? I asked why such call is necessary. She said wanted to verify the office phone.

I feel like that I don't want to use this card anymore due to the above unfriendly approach!

Can the annual fees for plat be waived? Let say I didn't spend 3k in a year, anyone have tried call uob CS to waive the annual fees?

You confirm UOB is sending by Pos Laju? For mine, UOB is sending it by snail mail.

Previously I called & asked the UOB CS hotline, I think should be no mistake.

My Preferred Platinum Card was sent by normal mail. It took about 4-5 days to reach Penang.
The card need to activate before use

Just received the card via snail mail. There is two level envelope as protection & the envelope containing the cc has sealing sticker attached.

One thing, the card looks much better than in the picture.

How long does it take from submission date and received date?

I think OCBC Ti Card is capped each month rebates of max RM50.
While ONE UOB isn't capped? am i right?
