I have some simple question, hope any one can help to answer: hmm.gif

1.After activate it via SMS,so I can start using after the confirmation SMS??

2. Any thing that I need to apply if I want to purchase something online by using the CC??

3. It seem that I need to go the branch to apply for Online Account and PIN??Am I correct??

Sorry if my questions are noob, because this is my 1st CC.. biggrin.gif

There're two types of installment plans:

1. During the point of sale - collaboration with merchant. Merchant should have the terminal with collaborating bank in order to convert the swipe into installment. May incur one time up front charges but usually the merchant will absorb to make the deal attractive. Otherwise, cardholder should be notified upfront about the charge.

2. After swipes took place - offer by the bank through selected calls or general time limited campaign/promo. Bank will offer installment plan to its cardholders for converting ANY outstanding in their CC into flexible repayment plan for certain tenure at certain interest rate (could be 0% at all). T&C of the campaign/promo applied. Understand the details properly. There might be upfront one time processing fee too!

did anyone get cash advance offer from CS?

Today they just call me to get permission to increase my CC credit limit..

And also promote the cash advance...But I ended the call in a rush, was busy at that time..

It seem like same rate with OCBC CC offer..
Is that true? Cant find the rate in UOB website also sad.gif
