Still waiting for ur special gift from macau I think UOB one card is only good for BHP, GSC and the smart cash rebate. Other than that, MBB 2 Amex and OCBC TMC still beat this card

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Aug 26 2011, 11:37 AM) Why do you calculate as such ? RM20 is just the initial deposit and you will get it back when you close the account next time (at least 3 months later). Besides, he suggested to anvil88 to open a UOB Bank account because it is meant to use to pay anvil88's UOB credit card. So, no IBG is involved here. You do not have to pay for the RM8/pa debit MasterCard annual fee if you open a Basic Savings Account. Wise choice because it is one of the best current account in the market. It also offer 5x free non-AMBank ATM withdrawals too isn't the debit Mastercard a Basic Savings Account ?

Someone really did the test, ESSO/Mobil petrol is no where near BHP or Shell, petronas is good for long distance... This post has been edited by NewGUY: Aug 30 2011, 10:57 PM

All UOB Bank accounts come with a standard debit MasterCard. So, just tell them you want to open a Basic Savings Account to make sure you won't be charged the RM8 ATM/debit card annual fee.

The bank will then tell that their ATM CARD is out of stock, only got debit card, hehehe.. This is modus operandi of promoting debit card issuance.
